Description I love Spirited Away sooo much (doesn't everyone) so I knew that I would eventually make a little Chihiro doll. She's made using fingered weight yarn so she's smaller than my normal dolls. That doesn't mean she can't sit on the couch with them, though!   Her hair is only the second needle felted hair I have made, but I can already tell that there are going to be a lot more. It's so easy and quick!

Just awwww! It's Chihiro! Oh my, she is so cute and matched the original so much. I loved Spirited Away (who not? ) too! But she definitely needs a Haku now...and soot spirits!
From all Ghibli movies my favorite was Nausicaä though. It amazes me every time I see it.

Thank you! That's true! I should make her a little Haku!
I was going to needle felt some soot sprites, but I haven't gotten 
around to it yet. I know that there are some really tiny star buttons
at a store in town, but last time I checked they were sold out. I'll
have to see if I can get them for the soot sprite's little candies!

I love all of the films! It took me a while to decide, but I think my favorite 
is either Kiki's, Spirited Away, or Whispers of the Heart. (that one is 
so sweet!)

Oh yes, the star sugar candies the soot spirits loved. I knew the name of those candies but I can't remember it. But I ate them once. They're just pure sugar but look so nice and feel kinda spiky.

 Whispers of the Heart...I haven't watched this so far or heard of it! I neeeeed to watch it! Thanks a lot for letting me know there was another one.

I've never seen them before, and was actually not even sure 
if they were real candy. 

Whispers of the Heart is one of my favorite. It's so wonderfully 
sweet! If you get the chance you should totally watch it!
