I like Merl best, with Ajax coming in at a close second. In my last RP we managed to take his boots off and tickle his big goofy feet silly, and I'd love to do it again... Maybe I will in the next update.
Also, I don't do grown-ups very well. I wanted to have Ulysses look old enough to pass as Ajax's dad, so I was oddly glad to put in the mustache. Those things ALWAYS make a guy look older somehow.
Is it just me, or does Dwarf remind me of Gylfie from the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series? XD

hm... what you could improve is: before colouring your drawings, you should colour all things that are black and almost black into one uniform colour, and then you should select the colours that remain (white included) and remove them.

So the mother is 33 y.o. and has a 18-y.o. son. That means she had him when she was 15 y.o., which means she had sex at 14 y.o.

I would (at least) put the mother at 37 y.o. That means she had her first son at 19 y.o., which makes her 18 y.o. when she conceived. The father can be 39 y.o. if you want to keep the 2 years difference.

for those of you who wonder what cut modesty's hair is, it's a pixie cut.
As for Merl, i'm glad you like him so much. i like to imagine his feet to be somewhat big, and also a lil stinky after walking in those boots.
Ulysses looks great too. wise and a lil wrinkly. the stash is as cool as his dorky bowl cut and ajax came out as cute and great as the last pic. Dwarf looks so wide eyed and curious on his arm like that. As for Modesty? well, i asked for cute eyes & feet, & thats exactly what i got. Thankies. :3
All in all a lovely picture of a loving family. Also the most likely reason Gylfie & Dwarf look so alike is probably cus of the fact that they come from the same species of owl.

Hehehe, thankies! I'm glad you like them all, and yeah, I'm glad the parents look convincingly old enough. FYI, I'm already working on another pic with Luna and Ajax tickling Merl and Harry, respectively. I think it should be up by tomorrow, if I can put pen to paper fast enough.
