(I know kaiju aren't typically considered "horror" related but they are usually considered adjacent! Plus I wanted to draw big moff)

11, a pair as easily identified as a pair of bloated eyes...and also the day of taut-tober that we have reached!~ Once again, another day passed shall be celebrated with another blown up, though this one is another that lacks any form of malicious attributes~

Mothra, a kind, gentle giant that protects the earth and it's people from a menagerie of monsters...so long as one doesn't get on her bad side. Having battled and (mostly) won against many other gigantic foes originating from all over the world(and even some from beyond), it was no surprise many all over the world knew of the insect-like guardian's love for their world...and decided to give that love back~

The next time Mothra flew over the world's cities, one in particular caught her eye. a GIGANTIC flower...with a strange bulb in the middle. Her instincts took over, and she landed upon one of it's petals...failing to notice it's plasticine falseness...and leaned in to try and drink from the flower's "nectar"...only for the bulb to extend straight into her mouth! This was no flower! It was a hose! The world had gathered an ENORMOUS supply of helium to fill up the moth kaiju!

While it took a ton to have a noticable effect, those effects were certainly drastic. Mothra's abdomen swelled up like a balloon, before the rest of her body soon did, her six legs swelled up into little nubs, her wings became two goofy accessories that were incredibly stiff...not that she needed them to fly anymore. Before she knew it, she was completely weightless!~

Of course, the silliest part had yet to come, the other features of her head sunk away as it merged with her body, all that helium being pumped straight into her compound eyes, causing them to bulge out into two GINORMOUS, spherical, wobbling globes of pressure! By the time the tank had run dry, Mothra had dwarfed the entire CITY, sending out creaks so loud it felt like an earthquake. Quite a few were honestly surprised that she didn't outright EXPLODE from just how much she was pumped up!

While Mothra was confused and upset over how the humans whose planet she regularly fought wing and claw for had treated her...it didn't take long for her to warm up to and greatly enjoy her new state, and not just from the sun heating up her stretched out, rubbery chitin~ She was far more relaxed now, no-longer needing to exert any energy to move, able to just gently flap her still barely-usable wings to change direction in the air. In essence, she had become a living, city-sized zeppelin. Dwarfing many either Kaiju by default. She wouldn't have to even lift a nub to defeat them anymore, if an impossibly huge moth-bomb-blimp with massively overinflated features floating towards them didn't scare 'em off, then they'd certainly be flattened into nothing but fun new decals for her body~

...and after weeks of lazy, taut bliss, Mothra couldn't help but wonder if getting even bigger would make her job as Earth's protector even easier...after all...she always felt like Earth needed a second moon~
