This design is based on the beta-Data that was recently found in the demo-Versions of Pokémon Gold/Silver.
The Beast Trio looks so boring in this. I feel like they couldn't finish the designs in time and just put the drafts in the demo.

yeah, i'll admit that while i do like the beta legendary beasts/dogs, they seem awfully... generic, especially for legendary pokemon. i can easily see why they were redesigned for the final game.
btw nice art, although i find it kinda odd how its right paws seemingly lack any detail on where each "section" of a paw is or whatever (i'm blanking on its name) and i think that the "stripes" on its front right leg look like theyre too close together in comparison to the other leg and sprite. also i think its bottom left paw is kind of awkwardly shaped but that's probably just me.
