Now questions. cold or hot work? Mostly sinking or raising? Pattern from somewhere or one you made off of yourself. Punched or drilled holes? gage of steel? mild? Stump or steak work? How much do the peices overlap? Leather for the underside or straps?
on a side note I started a hand buckler from your tut. I have to some how make get or improvise a ball steak so I can planish it but then its a little riviting and it will be done. Thanks for the tut.

THe gauntlets, cold worked, both sinking and raisning about equal amaunt, made the pattern myself, both drilled and punched holes, mild steel, mostly anvil and stake but stump for the knuckles, overlat... 0,3-2,0cm, no leather yet will just have it for sraps and fingers!
Ball stake! You can buy a big hammer and grind the head to a ball and place it in a vice this will be a good ball stake, you can buy a canon ball or a mustardball (if you know what it is... dont know if it's the right word in english... xD or by s steel bar about 50x50mm and 20cm long and grind one of the sides to a ball, or ask the workshop you buy it at to do it for you!

i work in a factory with spices, But i will stop working there this week (it hurts my back to much to work in the environment, im quite tall and the work benches are to low even for normal hige people..)

im 187cm long, weigth 102kg (muscles hihi) are 21 years old, live in sweden and... im a smith, wealder, sheet-metal worker, IT-manager, Webdesigner, car tire manager, car polisher, spice manager, plastic component assembler, wood cutter, personal helper and so on... done quite much in my few years... and this is the first job ever that have hurt my back...
