Description This is by far the best Kirby papercraft model I've seen to date - It's too cute!

It's basically the same model as "Kirby's Final Smash" originally released at [link] but the designer, known as ddi7i4d, has removed the chef's hat and rounded off the top of Kirby's head..

I don't know why, but this was hard. Good job though.

Yeah, papercraft that resembles a ball does tend to be hard. Thank you!

Loads of practice!

No, seriously, the best thing for making really good papercraft is your tools, ie: really good glue and good paper
I cannot over emphasize this enough - you'll be amazed the improvement in your crafts!

at the moment im using just plain printer paper because i dont want to go out on other expensive stuff until i'm better at it. the glue i used was a little watered down i think, and i didnt work out what to apply the glue with back then either.. got something better now though, used a knife on a toothpick so i have a very thin part to smear it on.
i must get around to putting up some pics of what ive done...

Using standard 80gsm printer paper will actually make papercrafting harder than it should be, because it's so floppy. And if you're using a very "watery" glue, you're going to find that the 80gsm will warp more than it would normally.

Trust me, if you really enjoy papercrafting, you'll love it even more once you pick up the proper tools.

i guess i'll have to get around to getting some thicker paper then and just try it out. ive got a better glue now.. works well

You altered the textures ... but, why white with red shoes?

well in kirby and the amazing mirror there is a color you can unlock called snow, showing the colors i mentioned before. seeing as though my favorite color combination is red and white I chose this kirby color as my favorite.

Yay! I saw this on the forum. You finally got a solo Kirby. And of course, great job, as usual. I think I'm gonna make one too.

Thank you

You'll have no problems completing the solo version

And then you'll probably take an awesome photo of it with the pretty coloured back-drop, and it'll look even better than this!

I think I rotated his body too far back when I attached his feet, but then the glue set and he was stuck!

Nah! Solo Kirby is yours. All yours. Maybe.

When I made the Final Smash, I had no plans of sticking Kirby on the platform but same thing happened to me and when I added his hat and stuff, he kept falling backwards so I had to glue him down.

Hahaha!

It's actually pretty easy - took me about 45 minutes from printing to finished model.

So get your lazy arse into gear!

That fast? ._.

It takes me at least 2 hours to finish a four swords link..

Someone's on papercraft steroids.
