A map for a few stories of mine from late middle school and high school.Yellow graph paper, colored pencil, and pen.

Sorry for the double-reply, but if you were talking about Santorini, then I have to say how uncanny the resemblance is. I wonder if I had seen that shape on a map at some point, and it stuck in my subconscious?

Hm, interesting! I've read that Atlantis was supposed to have several rings of land to keep people away from Poseidon's lover, and this map is circular, so it makes sense that way.

Haha sure sure, by the way unfortunatelly that sland as many others are quite improbable if we see the most famous register of atlantida, because it says that is beyond the Heracles' Pillars, which means its on atlantic ocean, (like the name of the sland suggest too) also, atlantida second to greek mithology do not follow poseidon if i'm not mistaken, but they are descendents from Atlas, the titan (he was a titan? i don't remember >.<) who holds the earth on his back.
I think you already watched but the movie "atlantis the lost empire" makes a good reference to this location, as they architecture and clothes are a fusion of greek and maia's

Varvi reminds me of Barbie- may they be extinct!! ( except for those who are obsessed with them) I like how you managed to fit in a whole bunch of landscapes into one landform. could I use this in a story, perhaps? I want permission ( I've had bad experiences with plagorism, particularly when I was in fifth grade)

How do you come up with the names of these places? This is really cool.

Some of them come from previous storied I'd planned out in drafts or just in my head. I remember using some of my favorites from those and combining them onto this map.
I think some things just float into my brain from video games and real life, too. For example, I made up "Cors Isle," and in reality there's the French island Corse. I don't usually recognize it when it happens until later.
It's also fun to make up place names.

awesome! it looks like you got pretty much every lanscape covered (except polar). question: which way does the river sacred flow?

I made this quite a while ago, but if I remember correctly, it flows inward (aka left/west) from the open ocean (as opposed to what I think rivers naturally flow *out to* the open ocean)... Then again, it could've been the other way around. 
At the time I made this, I thought that the eastern ocean would have all sorts of nasty monsters to guard against (that's the reason for the "Beast Trap"). Plus dangerous obstacles for sailing, like sharp rocks and such, so there's not much sailing around over there.

I really like this one- probably because I make fantasy games and the land formation is just great. The crescent shape would defenetally make it a stronghold. (2 thumbs up)

I actually did a remake of this map several years ago, but lost it. :/ I made the cresent narrower, but with more protrusions so that there were great chasms around the continent. I wish I could find it so I could take another look at it.
