Red Ending was the ending we were MEANT to pick.
Only BioWare jacked it up with the whole "Starchild(*CoughcoughactuallyjustHarbingerscrewingwithyoucoughcough*) said he didn't like the choices so we didn't like them either"
But then WHY was Hackett screaming at me for hours on end about getting "The Catalyst" to ONLY aim it at the Reapers?
I dunno, why bother with story building logic it's not like I didn't decide to screw their ending by doing the Citadel DLC AFTER the ending anyways.........damn clone touched my hamster, Biscuits Hamilton.

You know synthesis and control are looking much better options now. Imagine shepard as the controller of the reapers doing paragon or renegade interrupts while using the reapers to hit stuff, hug stuff etc

If you hated the endings as much as I did, try *koobismo 's Marauder Shields webcomic. It's much better (for the record, I once let Marauder Shields shoot Shep, then switched to the comic)

The best thing is that even though this is a prody the characters still show more genuine grief and emotion than they did in the actual ending. You have to wonder why they went for a downer ending when they show Joker and Liara hugging and grinning like a couple of chuckleheads two seconds later.

I was not. the game had so much emotion to it, then the last few minutes i didnt feel anything past confusion and skepticism. it just didn't fit. Like I didn't even feel sad about Shephard. At all. And why the hell was Liara the last person he thought of? I didn't even like Liara, more like, tolerated her. It was like it suddenly switched to a whole other game you know?

I think the last thought followed the romance; for example, my fem!Shep romanced Kaidan, and he was her last thought. Then again if you romanced Tali I have no idea why she didn't show up. :\ And I get the feeling. I must be one of the few people on the 'net who thought the ending wasn't as bad as people make it out to be.

Nope, you're not. I chose Synthesis because it's the only one that made sense. Controlling the reapers would only work for a little while before someone on either side figured out a way to screw things up, and my Shepard wouldn't want to sentence the geth and poor EDI to death after helping them gain independent thought and individuality, to say nothing of getting Joker laid by a sleek, sexy bot. And I feel better choosing it after seeing that every other ending would mean the destruction of the Normandy. Synthesis is the only one that doesn't show the engines getting ripped of the wings. And Synthesis means that they could have the reapers rebuild the Mass Relay network.

Wait, so a machine that has the ability to merge synthetics(which have no dna) and organics together like some sort of space god, makes sense to you? No one really knows how the reapers feel about everything, they could get bored and just come back and kill everything again. It's not outside the realm of possibility that new organic life would rise, after all, at one point we were just a bunch of chemicals and crap, now we walk and talk and kill each other. So i really do not think that it is a viable solution.

Aslo you could make a few funny jokes and not have killed one of my fab characters by having tali jump off but it was like a two foot drop and she's just being dramatic
