Description
This is Kim JaeJoong aka Hero of the K-Pop (Korean Pop) group JYJ. I love his personality and what can I say.. he's hot!I decided that I wanted to use a method that I used to when drawing portraits so it took quite a bit longer than usual but I am very happy with how the drawing itself turned out... my feelings on the markers is a different story.
This took approx. 10 hours (thanks to the pre-drawing process).

Lol, thanks! I actually wanted to draw him with one of his longer hair styles from a show but when I saw the original picture of this one I decided on it. But at the time of shading, I was wishing I would've chosen one of the pictures with his hair darker... less highlights

It amazes me that you can get such good shading with the markers, I didn't know they blended together so well. Very nice drawing.

Thank you so much! I have all of the PrismaColor cool grey marker tones ranging from 10% to 90% along with black. But I was low and out on some so some of the areas turned out streaky. I've loved using markers and pencils since high school so it's one of those techniques I've done a lot and adjusted a lot

Lol, he's one of my favorite Korean actors/singers along with Kim Hyun Joong, Choi Minho, and Lee Minho (getting ideas for my next few projects *muahahahahahaaaaa*).
