It's kind of funny that I submit two images in a row with mushrooms, but sure enough here's another one. Again, the mushrooms were one of my favorite parts here. But it was also a lot of fun to work with the the ridiculous rim lighting in this piece as well as painting the fur on the satyr.This is again a crop from a larger illustration, but the way that the larger ones are formatted is mostly to serve the text in the illustration, and I wanted to just show this part.Β

Oh, very powerful atmosphere a lot of which is down to that unusual lighting, fur is very difficult to draw

Thank you very much! I think I got lucky with the fur, I stumbled into that "less is more" balance with the brush strokes and then I just left it alone so I wouldn't mess it up.
