Available as a print on my INPRNT store!!!The basic story behind this one is that I wanted to do a little pin up sketch and I asked my girlfriend for a color combination suggestion and she said yellow ochre and bubblegum. As I started working on it I got carried away and didn't stop.
This is also definitely inspired by Gil Elvgren's work. If you haven't seen his stuff before, please do now.
Also, I'm definitely accepting commissions right now so if this piece sparks any ideas, shoot me a note!

Sometimes I see images on here which are named by means of a basic description and a number or some other iterative designator. I think that's sad because aname conveys such a great amount on a piece. I suppose it's origin describes the harmony, but none the less, this picture is married perfectly to the name. It even infuses the subtle implications into the pose and scene. This is a great piece.

Wow I really appreciate the heartfelt comment, hope you don't mind me being late in responding. I have to admit, titles are generally something that comes to me last, maybe it's the product of thinking of myself more as an illustrator in which the work doesn't so much have a title as it does represent an idea in the article/product it accompanies, so I often times default to generic terms. I hope that I can make more images that are tied to their titles in a significant and insightful way. Thank you for the wonderful comment.

Uh.... (not terribly art-savvy) thinking... so on DA you offer photos, but you sell prints through a third party? I'm at work, I don't have a tape measure! I would have to measure it out, but I think 14" on the long side would be close.

Unfortunately I don't sell prints outside of DA, mostly selling prints is not my priority at the moment I guess. :\ Wish I could help more but as of now DA is all that's available. Perhaps in the future!
