Not really but even I noticed that. Do you have any advice as to how I can make it seem happy?

I think there are two factors (althogh I would not call myself that much of an expert on eyes)
1. The eyebrow: if you make it a bit more "curved up", it would look happier I think.
2. is the eyelid, with the same as in 1. It is quite "straight".
Both of them seem to "push" down on the eye - and adding to that, the eye looks quite "watery" with all the reflections. It is somewhat hard to describe what I mean, without having an example >.<
The next thing you could try (additionally) is to not have any eyewhite on the bottom of the eye.
