I don't think it's that cliched. Looks more kinda like the elf that would be quite happy to shoot you in the throat, rather than the green-clad-pixie-eared-pretty-boys we're used to. And it's very cool, to see it's watercolour, nice work!

Thats a great job. There so much atmosphere around this piece. The way hes looking at the ground also seems to signify sadness.
