Im really getting into the whole Digital mainting thing... its really cool. This was done 100% Photoshop with the brush tool. (99% anyway) on one layer. Keeping it on one layer allows it to feel more like a real-world painting. Im always fascinated by bowmen.. childhood obsession, so This is a product of an overactive imagination...hope ya all like it.

Very nice. I like that even though it was done in photoshop it still manages to look like a painting, especially the sun hanging in the sky. Great work!

Would you look at that, people are beginning to draw and paint on the computer, and I can't even draw or paint on paper, damn my lack of being an artist. The best I've done was colour in the lines on one of those "paint by number" thingy. Damn all of you artistic people.
Oh yeah as I was saying, I really like the pic, I mean it is what the Title says, it is calm, and it has helped me today, I really do like it. Keep it up.

I absolutely love this. I just read the title now; it's perfect. Everything is so mellow. Not to mention detailed. The archer is wonderful.

Wow, this is awesome. It reminds me of some asian art. Really digging the highlights and the way the sun is a bit swirly...it brings a nice affect on everything. Love the colors that you choosed. Before I read the your comment, I thought it was a real painting. It's awesome. ^_^

awesome work dude, nice wacom brushing there (just going by the fact that the sun looks like a lot of different pressures were used), and if you didn't use a wacom, then I just made an ass out of myself Either way, it's one hell of a painting!

This is excellent work. I love seeing other people using photoshop for painting. You might think about trying to use multiple layers though, and then using layer effects like soft light and multiply, they can really help acheive some great painterly effects with photoshop.
