Long awaited page 27

Lots of BG effort this time. Experimenting with some textures too. Pfft Stubs and Spike and their ever changing character designs. I had to make them more simple, their scales were killing me.

COMIC!

So as Mitch and the others ride on to Redcliff the scene changes to Scott, and what ill fortune is happening to him. Scott wakes up after a horrible night. He thinks Mitch is dead and he dosn't know what the lizards are going to do with him. He peers outside the keyhole wondering where he is.
Outside, Spike and Stubs are filling canteens and letting the quail drink from a stream where they made their camp. Delgado is treating the gash Mitch gave him holding his soaked bandana to it. Lets just say he's not too happy.
Spike and Stubs hear a rustle across the stream and tell Delgado, who abruptly snaps that they go check it out. While wading the stream Spike expresses fears about the noise belonging to a Chapperel bird. ((a Roadrunner's alternative name, Chapparel Cock, though since its unspecified if the bird is a cock or a hen I just say bird)) Stubs states he'd rather face a lot of Roadrunners than Delgado. ((Roadrunners hold the same status as a mountain lion or a bear in Skytown, they are ambush predators that eat mice, lizards, rats, and other birds including quail.))
Once on the other side of the stream and having disapeared into the bush they find the source of the noise and cry out JUMPER! Causing Delgado to leap up, gun at the ready.
Inside the trunk Scott stiffens. Jumpers!? As if his luck wasn't bad enough!
