The seals themselves are quite sleek, and I suppose "shark-like", but it does not make them sharks in such a regard. Sorry to pick apart at your statement, but too many seem to discard facts, such as the fact Flekk is female, and I've seen countless times people have misjudged species on both Skia's and Culpeo's work.

Oh yes. And when people draw a fox looking animal and try to pass it off as a wolf is also annoying (because they don't bother to look at pics of real wolves and foxes to compare)

The name Flekk/Flekkfrakk is a deliberate misspelling of the German words "Fleck" and "Frack". It's funny that these words are nearly identical in Norwegian, didn't know that before

Leopard seals are my favorite marine mammals! I especially love their head is so weird and those jaws are amassing.
But my brother hates them cuz they eat his favorite animals, the penguins.
I once saw a documentary where a guy went out filming these seals and a female seal kept following him, playing with him, even bringing him dead penguins. My heart literally melted
I can't wait to see more drawings of her. I also had a leopard seal character in mind but didn't had time to do a ref sheet, I didn't had time to do even for my cheetahs. I hate doing ref sheets :/
