Background concept art for my storyboard project, [FINAL INVASION]. Technically the project has ended (my final animatics clocked in 14:07. Yeap, it was, and STILL is, EPIC.), but I like visiting it once in a while --- I just love building and exploring worlds

For this work, I tested out Martin Vesshasselt's texture brushes. 6 hours later, I finished this piece and along with 2 other background comps (unrelated to this project). It's not that I'm fast(er), but when you have a clear directive of how the visual should look and feel like, it helps you to nail the visual all the better.

Also...I was late for the REAL artwork that I'm supposed to do for this project.
...I'm officially 1 year late .___.
I should have that work up next, sometime soon.
