On the penultimate page of the last issue, we left Annabelle stuck in Eggmans clutches, as the crews of his fleet begin to regain their senses. Now he's on repair duty. The Egg destroyers are currently locked in place... The Shadow Forge remotely locked them down, and now Eggman is working to get them under his control again...
Annabelle is being kept where Eggface can see her. And uh, yeah. Not much else to say about this one.
