Oh, yeah... Eggman's evil isn't he? Seeing no point in a planet full of madmen, he finds it more practical to wipe out the entire population. I mean, if he gets his fleet back under his command, he could do it.
However, he does seem to have forgotten that he is working with people, not machines... and these people may not be the biggest fan of near genocide... especially when they have family down there...
How do you think this situation is going to pan out?
