and as far as using stuff- pencil to sketch it out(mostly proportions-sometimes i can get them waaaaay wrong), G-2 7 pen for details, mix of crayola and copic markers for color, and a letter B faber castell fine tip for extra shading!
...oooh i just bought copic markers in flesh tones-they're all professional n junk....makes me so happy!

Just a season behind. I'm a late-bloomer, just started watching it about 6 weeks ago. I've watched from Doctor #9 to the mid-point of season 5.
I'm really excited to get to this season's episodes, I keep hearing good things about The Doctor's Wife.

I now just have The Rebel Flesh left to watch and I'll be caught up with the rest of the planet. I loved Idris...she's just how I imagined she would be.
And I know what you mean about the watching repeatedly, I've convinced one of my roommates to watch but I'm insisting she start with Doctor #9 and work forward so it all makes sense. I think I've watched that first season 4 times already.

rebel flesh is good so far-i want to see how it turns out. i dont know where you are, but they held off part two where we are for memorial day. makes me sad
sweet!!!! haha, usually when i try to convince people they watch one of the really obscure and cheesy episodes, dont like it, then think im crazy :/ heres the thing....when DW is good, oh is really really so so good, witty dialog, great chemistry, fantastic villans, ....but when its bad, ITBOMBS, cheesy, not relatable, bad cg...my point is, you really have to watch the whole thing(9 through11) to appreciate it.
although i agree that part of the story is important (see how Rose and the Docs relationship started), I really dont care for Christopher E. as the Doctor, nothing personal-I just think hes a dork in the role

I have the same issue with seeing it. BBC America isn't running it until next weekend, which sucks because I don't know if I'll get to see it. But that's why some bright spark invented DVR, right?
I agree about the trying to get people to watch. They have the nuttiest luck and end up watching like...Father's Day for example. Or any of the other forgettable ones. Going through that with my roommate right now, I told her I'd take pity on her and not make her watch two of the episodes in first season that are atrocious.
I like 9 well enough, but going back and watching them now, he's a bit meaner than I like my Doctor. 10 is still my fav, probably because all he needs are tattoos to be my ideal man
