aww yee saved the best for the last of my art spam.This was the main thing I worked on when the interwebs went caput so LEMME JUST TELL YA HOW THIS CAME TO BE.
You see, what I did was simply asked my grandmother what I should draw.
Told her to pick a scene from Swindle.
Without missing a beat she decided on "the part where they're fighting over the key" because that part is her favorite.
... Ok. I see.
Of course it wouldn't be any of the emotionally deep or high action scenes, oh no. Not even a real, legit battle.
But the most
petty
pointless
spiteful
ridiculous scene in the entire story.
This fight accomplishes nothing. They're going to the same place, it doesn't matter who is holding the key, it is simply the most obvious example of them starting nothing just to push each other's buttons.

Hahahaha that's how it goes though right? You write an important and gut-wrenching story and everyone's favorite part is that one scene where they're being dicks for no reason at all. xD Looks like a lot of fun. I love her hair. It's full of gypsy bling. I should do that to my hair... (except I'd probably never ever get any of it out ever again.

but yeah this scene was fun to write xD I rewrote it three times. one to be better and twice from each of their perspectives for the heck of it

Hahah, I have hair like hers except not red (sadly not red) and yeah... you can't comb it unless there's water gushing through it. I sympathize so hard with her not taking care of it. He doesn't know the struggle. It's such a pain. xD Sometimes you don't want to be soaking wet. Stahp judging man.Β

mine is naturally curly and I dread brushing it because it just... poofs.
hehe yeah he gets on her case about it but then again he's the type of person that's constantly preening and messy hair is actually a source of stress so you know

Yes I never brush my hair, haha, not unless I'm planning to dump a bucket of water on it afterwards. It fluffs out--and I'm broad shouldered--but it goes past my shoulders on either side. xD Occasionally I'll oil it really well and then brush it out it turns into a formless floating cloud... my white friends find this endlessly incredible, heheh. But I have to wash it afterwards or it tangles like so much tumbleweed and I'd never be able to get a comb though it. Maybe if you dampen or wet your hair before you brush it...? Or comb it with a pick instead of a brush? Idk. I can barely manage my own hair so not so qualified to give advice. 
Hahaha poor guy... but of all the sources of stress that seem to come from being around Scarlett, I really think her hair should be the least of his concerns. xDΒ

oh gosh no getting my hair wet makes it frizz like crazy xD I just gotta put product stuff in it and keep a thin cut -shrug- it works xD

THE DETAILS. I love the foliage, the dirt, Scarlet's hair, and the hands. I suck at drawing hands so I always appreciate hands haha
Composition looks great too btw, your eyes really focus on the characters, but the background and foreground still look very full and rich. Awesome stuff
