That reminds me of something I wanted to draw but could never get quite right: a Wehrmacht soldier, mutilated and decaying, with his ribcage showing, devoid of organs, he's holding an MG-42 with the chain of cartridges wrapping up around his ribs.

я наверное когда-нибудь научусь такие вещи без косяков рисовать Хотя по-моему тут просто вопрос проработанности наброска и отсутствие спешки какой-либо нужны. Пока не очень с этим

Я косяков как таковых тут лично не замечаю.) Всё очень так ровненько, тщательно и аккуратненько проштриховано, что очень радует глаз. Ну и сама рисовка и задумка конечно же очень зацепила так, ибо сами любители потобного сорта артеца. А так разумеется, чтоб избегать какие-либо ошибки -  это сто раз отмерь, сто раз проверь как говорится. На это всегда уходит какая-то часть времени. Некоторые сразу берутся что-то там в самом начале простым карандашём и линейкой разлиновывать, сравнивать, выравнивать, а потом на финальных этапах это всё конечно же стирается. В общем твори чувак, дай бог тебе время на такие дела.

These diagonal lines in the background give me a sense of radiation in which that soldier is melting. The rendering is superb! Keep up the good work.

No I find them fine like this, it adds direction. With radial lines I feel that I would seem more that either the sun is emmiting it, or him. Just fine like it is. Its interesting to think about that topic doh, what lines can tell about an image.
