This is why fanbase suck these days. Because you get some who like something new, while others like something old, then they complain, then they start hating and so on and so on. Hell, look at the Sonic the Hedgehog fanbase.

Realistically, this is the tamest way it would happen. She's completely abandoned the persona that her fans all fell in love with. What about her fans who LIKED the bells and whistles?

That's the point--Razzle Dazzle might have gotten caught in a trap of always having to up the ante on the bells and whistles, rather than just making better music; if not for toning things down and performing AS HER GENUINE SELF, rather than just her persona.
