Description

Native to the floating forest and its surrounding skies, the Cloudskipper Dragon is a mid sized 'true' dragon (meaning they have 6 limbs). Lithe but muscular, these creatures are true air acrobats, and spend 80 pecent of their life flying, even eating and sometimes dozing in mid flight. while they are carnivores they have a relatively mild personality and are generally not hostile towards humanoids. The head frill is actually used as a stabeliser of the head when diving or during fast flight, and can be flattened against the neck or fully expanded at will. Its also used to make their heads look bigger when facing other predators. These Dragons are also sometimes called Whisp dragons, due to their lithe statue but mostly because of the membrane on their tail that trails behind them like a flag. No one is quite sure what purpose it has. It does add to their elegant form in flight tho.They are admired by many for their elaborate flight patterns.
