Description
This was done for a mouse anthro friend of mine. She complained a lot about how you never seem to find many mouse sketches... and that none of them are ever anything but happy looking. Why are there no unhappy mice in the world? Why? WHY???Well, there's at least ONE now. And I'm sure when she sees it, my friend will be ecstatic over it. Original drawing done by hand with computer paper and graphite pencil. Inking done on PhotoShop 7.0 and text provided by PhotoImpression4. The sketch took me 45mins... the entire piece from beginning to finish was about 4-4 1/2 hours in the making.
I'm just too slow with my PS program... I really should practice with it more. ^__^ Anywho, enjoy!! And if you like it, please say so. Also criticism is always welcome.

True, there aren't many mouse sketches, and that was personally disappointing to me in a way, as I love drawing them. This piece really caught my eye and it's amazing, it seems to bring a smile upon my face -it's not everyday I see anthro mice so beautifully done as this. Great job!

Thank you, Duo. I simply flattened the layers that composed the mouse character, then applied a layer of that lavender color over it and erased the eye-shine areas so they would stand out more. Simple enough trick, I'm sure.

It's supposed to look sort of sad or depressed or 'meh'.... that is what makes it different from the usual happy mouse anthro drawings you usually find.... when and IF you find much mouse anthro stuff. Its pretty rare.

Another antro rat that not many people draw cus well she is a rat is Freya from FF9. She seems sad mostly all the time. Its hard to find Freya art cus she has that stupid hat on and no one really knows how she looks. Thanks for responding and correcting me. Peace!

I loved her character and I wished they had done more with her than they did. She was one of the few characters who didn't annoy me. I couldn't STAND Garnet/Dagger... and Eiko? I'd leave her to die on purpose when I was just in the mood to sit a place and level for a while. >:]
