"Stumbling out upon such a sight on the blighted eve of a rather foul winter day wasn't what any normal person would've expected. The blistering cold made the strange beast shimmer, the sheer heat of its rage causing steam to roll from its shaggy coat. It loosed a terrible snarl and bounded off into the woods, leaving one to ponder if they'd seen anything at all. No... surely it was merely a rabid beast of some sort. Nothing that terrible would be found so close to home... would it? Suddenly... home doesn't feel so safe anymore..."

This was a shaded drawing I did a while back when I was just beginning to attempt anything beyond my usual line art. Its smudgy and not very detailed, but enough people have liked it that I figured I could toss it up here and see what you guys think of it. One fella I know even uses it as his avatar on some online forums and has done so ever since I made the drawing 2-3 years ago! But I digress... mech pencil and comp paper... as if ya didn't know by now!! ^__^;;
