A little fun idea that I had back in April of last year, ironically the exact date that the Sonic 2 movie would be released in 2 years from then. It is what it is. Pre-movie Sonic getting his revenge on the Movie Sonic that we all know and love for "stealing" his role in the movie. I'm actually surprised no one has had made a tickle drawing with this kind of scenario in mind. But, to accompany our beloved blue speedy bouncy baby boy, it's Tyson Hesse; the guy responsible for the Sonic Mania Adventures and TSR: Overdrive shorts on YouTube as well as Movie Sonic's redesign! His torture being none other than Jim Carrey himself, who actually hated the idea of redesigning Sonic for the film. He was literally the man who "hAtEd ThAt HeDgEhOg!". Which come to think of it, is probably the most ironic thing the series has ever witnessed... I mean, the guy who plays Robotnik also hating Sonic in real life? That's some deep meta stuff right there if you ask me. I tried to give Jim an over the top cartoony expression, since he's the master of over the top cartoony expressions as well as give him his signature big toothy grin! Movie Sonic's design in this is actually inspired by the artstyle of the almighty Caroos-Dungeon, with the curvy lips and intensity on his face. You can tell it's intense for him by the way that lighting is sparking on his quills, staying true to the movie as the same thing happened to him whenever he tensed up. But what do guys think? P. S. Did you know that before Ben Schwartz was chosen for the role of Sonic, Jim Parsons was going to originally voice him? Imagine Sheldon Cooper going all like "Gotta Go Fast!" and meowing. I'm sure that kind of meme would give Sanic a run for his money in no time...
