Done for the Eatpoo 8bit weekly.Guardian Legend was fucking amazing back in the day. I remember playing it at my friend's house and immediately beginning to plot methods of killing him and stealing his NES.

Oh, man, this guy scared the LIVING SHIT out of me. And dat boss music...Unbelievably intense, for 8-bit.
Granted, the first time I played it, it was on my grandma's old black-and-white TV. Somehow, it was a lot scarier without color.

Haven't played this game in YEARS since I sold my old NES and game genie. This game was awesome. I gotten this game along with Journey to Silius and Air Fortress for Christmas long ago. Three BEST NES games I ever had. =3

The small ship attacking a giant fish monster... an epic battle is about to begin! This part of the game was always my favorite.
Anyway; amazing work on the colors! It really brings the picture to life.

Nice flashback, good ol' NES days, I treasure them the most for being my happiest days, that's why I also keep these games with me!!! Nice job, looks excellent!!! Hope they do a remake or a revamp of this game, its got everything a good game's got: a chick as main character, she transforms into a ship SHMUP style, she's wearing a bathing suit, and it's an RPG, plus she's got a laser sword, what more could you want?
