Description
These are inspired by the Triple Triad cards from Final Fantasy 8. The card border is a slightly edited version of the official cards (out of print, but you may be able to buy them on eBay). These were created purely for fun.Vector credits:

I can hear the music now...
I love these, its a very cool idea, and Final Fantasy and My Little Pony goes hand in hoof, as far as I'm concerned.
I wonder who would have who's card, if this was in an actual Final Fantasy VIII like game? For those who don't now, the character cards in FFVIII are usually found by challenging a specific character, and it's often someone connected to the card character.

I can imagine Celestia and Luna would have each others' cards, whereas Twilight would most likely have Spike. As for the others?
Twilight could be won from one of her parents. Seems logical enough.
Rainbow Dash could be won from either her dad or one of the Wonderbolts.
Pinkie Pie from the Cakes, her parents, or her sisters. Heck, she's friends with everyone in Ponyville, so she could pop up in a game with a random Ponyville resident!
Rarity — who else but Spike? He would be loathe to give it up, I bet. Maybe there could be a scenario where you have to lose a certain card to him for him to play it, like General Caraway wanted Ifrit in order to have him use Rinoa. But which card? Princess Ember? Peewee? And who would have those cards?
Fluttershy could perhaps be won from Rainbow Dash, seeing as they've been friends since they were fillies. Unless Angel can play Triple Triad. 
Applejack — well, she's got five hundred odd relatives, but I imagine it would be someone from Sweet Apple Acres.
Derpy? I see only two options: either Dinky or Time Turner (aka Doctor Whooves).

The urge to play through it again is really what got me into doing these. They turned out pretty well, I think, but the vectors done by artists such as yourself are what really make them.
