Description
"Alex? What's wrong?" Tyler leaned in closer, and noticed something amiss. MMHM ... ... SMELLS GOOD ...
Alex was shocked, and stood still like a deer caught in headlights. She was bleeding on her cheek, tears forming on her eyes. Gazing into them, Tyler saw her own nightmare staring back.
"Wait, am I still dreaming?..."
Tyler began to wake from the illusion, her realization of reality starting to raise her heart rate as the past unadulterated memories replayed in her mind.
"TYLER! HELP!!!", Alex suddenly screamed, breaking her from her stupor. "TYLER'S NOT HERE ... TYLIX IS!", a deep, unfamiliar voice rose from Tyler's throat.
Tylix sweeps in to silence her prey, but Tyler forcefully regained control, and stopped the claws from slashing her friend. "No!! ... Run!"
Amidst Alex's shrill screaming and her mounting panic, Tyler could only think of one thing, getting the monster away from Alex.
Feeling the control of her body slipping away again, Tyler nonetheless mentally screamed at both Alex and the monster. RUN!!! ... RUN AWAY!!
In full-on panic mode, Tylix made a run to the apartment's balcony. With little effort, she jumped across to the opposite building, and started to climb. GO! ... GET AWAY!!...

Artist's Note:
There you have it, a name for the symbiote, Tylix.
Originally, I planned to draw her crashing out of a window to run away, but drawing shattered glass is beyond my skills at the moment.
Mid panel is perhaps a nod to the Marvel's symbiote weakness to shrill noise, but in this case, it's more psychological than physical.
Also a relic from Marvel: Traveling via windows, balconies, side and top of buildings. Somehow heroes and villains alike have a thing against using the common streets.
Originally planned to end this chapter here, but the last closing scene felt inadequate, so I'll add another page to wrap things up better.
And as always, thanks to for the colours!
