I find it really sad when Meliodas expresses any form of sadness throughout the manga and anime.
Although he is a VERY strong protagonist, his feelings towards the people he cares about often get in the way, and I really love that about this character.

This anime might not be for everybody simply because it's very "Shounen-like". If you generally enjoy battle anime, I think you would like this one! ^^ You should watch the first season of the anime, and see if you like it. If you do, you can watch the second season that is currently on-going. I hope this helps. c: Keep in mind that the first season is not the best part about this story as a whole.
I personally like both the anime and the manga, since they both basically follow the same exact story.

From far away, this looks like some sort of sketch on textured paper. Up close, it is also very interesting, with the rain blending with the colors you used in the shading of Meliodas. Great job!
