Description:
Samuel Husky was known in the Floridian military base in St. Augustine by the simple nickname 'Slush', not as something positive but at least less menacing joke compared to his own unit, with one soldier having the harshest nickname. Needless to say, Samuel and his group were newbies, having joined the military since 2019.

Outside the military base however, he had a modest living with his friends who had their own dorm. However in 2020, one of his friends, specifically a Rough Collie girl, once went to California to visit his relatives and their town was being invaded by the newly established state of Brisa Creek. Horrified and disgusted by the beavers' intentions in ruling California, her relatives quickly evacuated into a nearby state of Nevada, but she decided to go further to warn Slush, which was an illogical reason to involve someone living somewhere too far away from the affected state, but this time she had a bigger reason to do so.

The Collie girl not only personally informed Slush exactly about what happened in California, but she also told him about the new project established in the same state to enhance soldiers powerful enough to counter the invasive forces of Brisa Creek. While neither his group nor his fellow soldiers were interested in saving California as they were limited to watch over matters in Florida and actually not allowed to deal with urgent ones outside Florida, Slush decided to take a chance to join the project, only for the sake of his Collie friend and her relatives. Unfortunately, air travel to and from California was recently restricted, following the Brisa Creek's invasions open to the public, so Slush convinced his superiors to arrange an airlift to bring the husky to the Californian city of Santo Tomas, except that he lied that he was personally required to attend a 1-week military assembly for new soldiers. While such an event existed, not even a high-ranking general could discourage any of their new soldiers to attend, regardless of any serious situation in effect.

Two days later, the military helicopter had reached the military base outside Santo Tomas and dropped Slush there. And there he was met by a bigger wolf soldier, going by the name Francis Petersburg, who informed him that his Collie friend had already signed the husky up for the MALAKAS Project, but since Slush had arrived in the city less than a week too early, he was ordered to stay in a local bunker until the rest of his scheduled week was up. Francis also confirmed what the Brisa Creek situation plagueing California, but asked Slush to remain patient, as even the state-wide conquest could take months, as long as numerous factors were delaying it.

Afterwards, Slush was transported to the mountain base, just a mile away from Santo Tomas. There he stood firm before his new instructor Errol James Spenser, who was ironically not even a newbie soldier. However on that day where most recruits were having a day off, Slush began his training straight away, much to EJ's astonishment, because it was the day he had been unaware, which was the Veterans Day, but when he learned about it, he instead gave out a salute and a smile to the US flag, and continued training anyway.

Over a few months, Slush's superiors back in St. Augustine began to feel suspicious that he hadn't contacted them as he was supposed to inform them once the 1-week military assembly concluded. So they sent a military helicopter to bring the husky, but after another two days it was shot down in the Californian forest. Unfortunately, the crash site was under the new domain of Brisa Creek, so when Slush, now a Super Soldier, was informed of what had happened, he immediately rallied his new comrades in saving his fellow soldiers from capture. It took them another few days until they managed to bring the down soldiers into the uncaptured military outpost. St. Augustine soldiers were shocked to see their fellow husky in such state, but having realized the situation they were in, they decided they needed to alert the neigboring state governments, as well as the US President, that Brisa Creek's continuous invasion could extend beyond California if left unaddressed.

However, EJ had witnessed that Slush had shifted his focus throughout his time in the Pacific Coast, much to the former's concern. Initially, the husky joined the project in hopes of helping the Californian military retake his Collie friend's hometown. Then, he realized that Brisa Creek had become a bigger threat than he once thought. Now, he had seen that defeating invasive forces of that would inspire all American soldiers, both old and new. Unfortunately, while such kind of behavior may have something to do with being a patriotic soldier, it may alter his mental state, for better or worse.
