A little gift for my good friend ~ShiroRyu927 , who introduced me to 9. Here's what she drew for me: :3 [link]I Hope you still like 9... you do, don't you? D:
I feel a slight spiritual connection to 9. it premiered on September 9th 2009, the day I turned twenty. :3
I rented the movie a few months ago, so I've all but forgotten the character details... referenced off a thankfully large-resolution movie poster I found on the net. Hopefully I didn't get too much wrong.
EDIT. Changed background so his torch stands out a little more.

Wow, thank you so much! The texture, the pose, the... anatomy (I guess,) are all spot-on. I had started to think I'd 'outgrown' 9, but looking at this reminds me that it's impossible to stop loving this inventive film. The only reason I didn't comment sooner is because I was trying to think of the right thing to say. Thanks again!

I rented out 9 on Blu-ray last weekend. Ah, it was better than I remembered. My puny skills don't do him justice!
I've been looking up textured brushes, maybe I'll find one that I can use if I try my hand at him again.

I think the textured brushes look great. One look at it says, "oh, that's burlap." There's no confusion about it.
