Description Updated with final linework. Coloring may take a few weeks, unless I bring the tablet with me on next week's business trip.

------------

A little taste of what's coming. It'll be a few weeks though before it's finished with color/shading/etc.

Aside from last week's Dagi pic, it's been a while - wanted to share some progress.

Felt fitting, yeah. Just have to really take my time with the coloring now, after putting so much into the linework.

MLP coloring or Pillar Men coloring?

As a first try, I'm going for their movie hair and skin, but with the JJ-accurate (or as close as I can) colors for the clothing. Screenshots from the anime vary so much based on the scene lighting. And I might need to shift a few tones slightly to contrast better with their skin.

Also - I've honestly not watched as much of it as I'd like. Just some clips on YT. So if you have any input from a fan perspective, let me know. Color refs, or things I may have missed on the outfits. I just couldn't get Wham's chest spikes to work with the tiddies, for example. But I did try.

I know, the artist always changed the background colors just because.Β

The MLP coloring is fine

Thanks. I'm sure adding color is going to make quite a difference too. The pure linework like this still has cool appeal though.

Oh my gosh! Duuuude, I love how you establish your anatomy; I'd love to learn to set up my poses like this! How long have you been studying/drawing for?

Btw, I can't wait to see how this turns out! Looks like it's going to be pretty intense and sultry. Like, I want to focus on Adagio and what she's conjuring up there, but her other hand being placed down there and how her fingers are parted, just can't look away...it just...makes me want to staa~aayy β™«

When it's colored, it's going to look so hhnngggggg Wish I had a chance to color something of yours!

Keep it up! Looks fantastic so far!

I've read a few books on anatomy, most of which were like 40-50 years old, heh. Look around for stuff by Burne Hogarth and Andrew Loomis. Though I'm sure there are more modern ones out there too.

Also, I tend to do a lot of google searching to find pictures of people in poses which are close to what I'm going for, just as some added reference.Β

I should have the final "ink" on the linework tonight. Will update this entry with a new version when it's ready.

And thanks.

Ooh! I own quite a few copies of Hogarth's stuff And Andrew Loomis, he seems pretty amazing - must get a copy of his work as well. Thank you so much for the recommendation, I appreciate it

Yes, if there's a pose I'm looking for, I'll either try to reenact it myself or find something close to what I'm looking for, as you said. It really helps and in my mind, is almost the same as doing real-life figure art or still life art.

Just checked out the latest version and it's looking amazing so far! Keep it up
