Description
I decided to draw this as my submission for HetaliaNationsUnite 'sΒ contest. The theme was Trust and/or Serenity along with a blue color palette. My piece touches on Trust, or lack thereof.Alone. Always alone.
Too forlorn to move another inch,
Too disgraced to utter another word.
There was no point.
No one liked him anyways.
Noses upturned and eyes avoiding his own,
He lived a life of solitude.
For no matter how hard he worked,
How much he tried to make amends,
The trust he had worked so hard to regain had been lost long ago.
Content? He would scoff.
Happy? In his wildest dreams.
No. Without company, without some form of returned reliance...
There was simply nothing else.

When I think of the colour blue, I often think of a more sad theme first. So although the words 'trust' and 'serenity' are not really sad things, I figured I still wanted the drawing to be sad anyway.Β
Haha oh goodness, hands are still so difficult for me. I often take a photo of my own hand in the pose I want to draw it in, and use that as a reference image
