Gift forShe has done quite a few awesome RP's with me and I wanted to give her something in return.
No fancy description here. Just Tom, the Socata TBM, enjoying an afternoon flight.
Edit: has now given him the nickname "Mr. Difficult" because of his paint job...

I'm very impressed- He looks really great! Shading effect is great, especially on his extremely complex livery- which is very well done here. Making different colors flow into each other isn't easy in digital art, but it looks great the way you've done it, and the resemblance to the inspiration of his livery can easily be seen. I especially like how well you shaped the blue fire on his tail. The detailing of doors, windows, flaps, and stabilizers is great!
His expression I like- it fits him quite well. Friendly, overall nice, but somewhat standoffish and quiet at the same time. He looks happy to have a peaceful afternoon flight.

Why did you name this digital print "Tom Rockman"? I was just curious because my name is Tom Rockman Jr.

This is a character I designed. Β He is a tribute to Tom Scholz, the guitarist and leader of a 70s band named Boston, and his livery is based on the colors of the UFO logo of the band. Β Tom Scholz designed lots of equipment to create effects with guitars under the line name "Rockman", and it has become something that lots of fanatics of the band have nicknamed him.

Well, I already told you I'm impressed by the number of artworks you've made recently, but I'll repeat: I am very impressed.
I like the fact your airplanes pretty much always have right proportions and the perspective isn't off. Unless they eat a bit too much, certainly. Well done on the complex and bright paintjob. I think it only lacks pink and purple for truly rainbow palette d:
