Title: Old Splashpage image of a comic that never made it.Description: satam Sonic is my favorite sonic in the world.. don't get me wrong, i love and respect Sonic Team Sonic, but i'm just a bigger fan of the satam one.^^;;
A friend of mines was making a SATAM comic called Chaos Adventures.. alas, it fell through because i simply did not like the art i was doing for it.. Heres one bit of it, the splash page. Ignore the URL there, as it wont work..the page was long since removed (at least to my knowledge.) ..Still, i'll always have the scripts he made of an AWESOME comic to remember.. maybe a sonic fan on this site'll be interested.. leave comment if you are! i'll gladly get you in touch with him and you both can talk about it.
Tools Used: Pencils and BiC Ink.

Sonic SatAM was without a doubt one of the best cartoons I ever watched as a kid, and you know what? I still think it holds up today, especially when you compare it to the kinds of cartoons kids are being force-fed nowadays.
It had a good dark atmosphere. The characters were fleshed out. The villain was intimidating and threatening (which isn't easy given his voice" and they managed to have an epic inter-connected storyline that didn't talk down to it's audience like so many other kid's shows do.
PLus, on top of all that, it was an adaptation of a video game that was actually GOOD! How many times can you honestly say that about any adaptation of a video game?
And what did they do with this gem of a cartoon? Thet threw it away. They threw away the best story Sonic will ever be in. Building our hopes and expectation on an epic cliffhanger, only to spit in our faces and cancell it afterwards.
I don't know who ran Dic Entertainment at the time, or if they're still around, but they need a stern talking to over this.

And yeah, SatAM was great. I don't think Dic was responsible for killing it, though. I think that mostly falls in the lap of the network that originally aired it (ABC).
