I'm not out to get her. But wearing that stuff is like wearing black face. You might be 1/3 Lakota, but I know full blooded Natives who don't think so. And I'm not being sensitive. I lost a friend due to this type of racism and I don't really like to see it happening.

but your missing the fact that nowhere does it say she thinks this is what natives wear. this is just a character with a characters outfit. there is no need to put a negative comment just because you dont agree with the clothing (if it can even be called that) she made for her character. ill admit: it may seem racist. but you have to take into consideration: this person created thier own character. they can have it any way they want. i mean what if it wasnt meant to represent any known tribe out there? it doesnt say so anywhere in the description box. maybe the photo just got thrown into the Native American Category from key words? who knows. all im saying is, its not as insulting as you think if you look at the fine print. i understand where you would be insulted. i really really do. you want to talk about insulting? have you seen the movie: The Road To El Dorado? THAT is insulting. the whole movies centered on the aztec/mayan civilization worshipping white people because they thought they were gods. not to mention the abhorrent state of dress they had the main herion: Chel, in. THAT is racist and insulting. espesically the fact that they made Chel into a total Floozy. thats insulting. i hate that movie and always will. because it was supposed to be historically as well as culturally correct. but it couldnt be farther from the truth. and my fiance is a full blood Navajo. and he doesnt think this photo is anything bad. and he comes from a very very culturally (i wouldnt say strict)eh..how you say: his family is very deep into their culture

You don't need to understand it. If people are hurt by it, there is no need to understand their logic. Only compassion. Not a quick jump to a defense, automatically assuming the other person has no idea what they're talking about.
