Description  Starkiller/Galen Marek (c) LucasArts
 You (c) yourself

Beware of spoiler contents of The Force Unleashed along with DLC.

You watched in horror as the two titan Imperial walkers marched their way toward the Hoth base. The AT-AT walkers trenched on without no hesitation, twisting their heads around to blast their lasers at the Snowspeeders and below to the Rebel soldiers.

You gulped as you turned your head to the generators. The Empire knew that the moment they made their way to them, all power would be lost and everyone was screwed.

You gasped at the sight of another Snowspeeder being blown apart from the walker.

"We have to retreat," you said to yourself.

You began to head back inside the base, mounting onto your TaunTaun, dashing away.

As you headed inside, you eyed everyone running to their Starfighters, gearing up to battle outside and fixing anything that needed to be repaired.

You ran over to Han and Leia, seeing them scan the screens before them. "It's bad out there," you said. "The Snowspeeders are barely doing any damage. They're heading right for the generators. We need to get everyone out of here now!"

"Well, sorry, princess, but off to the Millenium Falcon we go," Han said, racing over to his ship. "Chewie, are the engines fixed?"

"(Y/n), wait, do you know where Luke is?" Leia asked.

"I'll go find him," you said. "I saw him come in here with the Snowspeeder. He should be around here somewhere."

With that, you rushed around the base, searching for Luke. "Luke, where are you?"

You spied him polishing up his X-Wing. He paced about, checking on the wings and dusting the exhaust ports.

He turned around to see you. "(Y/n)," he said. "You should head with Leia and Han. I don't think you'll fit in here."

"I just wanted to check to see how you were doing. And to tell you, it's getting bad out there. We definitely need to evacuate now."

“I know, that’s why I’m getting this ready,” Luke said. “But…I think I might stay a while. I sense something heading this way. I don’t know what it is but…I’m going to check it out when it gets closer.”

"No, Luke,” you said. “We need to get out of here. If we don’t, the Empire will catch you.”

"But don’t you feel it, (y/n)?” Luke asked. “Something…or someone is heading this way. I can feel them getting closer. I don’t know why but I want to know who they are. The Force with them is…very strong.”

You concentrated, trying to see what Luke was sensing. “I feel it too,” you said. “It feels dark…scary. Intimidating. This doesn’t feel good. We should evacuate instead. What if it’s Vader?”

“I don’t think it is,” Luke said. “It does feel like it could be him but someone deadlier. We should stay behind though until Han and Leia are in the Falcon. Then we’ll take off.”

You sighed. “All right, but I’m staying until you’re all on board. Then I promise to hop into the Falcon.”

Luke nodded. “Ok. I’m sure we’ll be fine with him. I mean, two against one, right? He may be strong but it can’t be that bad with both of us.”

You smiled. “True. Though we are untrained. Well, at least you are a bit. Two heads can be better than one.”

 Luke grinned. “That’s the spirit.”

Of course, you couldn’t lie that you were once a Padawan. And like Luke, you didn’t know much about the Force other than the basics. If anything, you and him might both be considered amateurs, but at least you had teachers who were knowledgeable in passing their lessons.

Your teacher was Rahm Kota, a general and Jedi master. He had found you when you and your parents were fleeing from some droids during the Clone Wars. Your parents had no interest in playing either side but always extended out a hand in need. This in turn led attention to some droids upon them noticing you all helping a clone who had fallen. While you were running away with the clone, you didn’t realize that the droids had shot at both of your parents. Screaming in terror, you were tempted to turn back and fight for your father and mother’s death but the clones and Kota kept you away. Seeing your pain, Kota took you in as his new apprentice, sensing that you were a young Force user.

Entrusting his wisdom, you followed him during the end of the Clone Wars. Naturally, Kota was busy so he was more focused on the war but every once in a while, he did teach you a bit. He was like a second father to you, being a strict, old man in scolding you about your flaws but he did applaud on your ability to learn fast. At this time, you began to see others fall like him and you two were on the run, finding out what in the world what the problem was.

Later, Kota found out the Republic he had so long ago known was now the Empire. It was led by the Emperor and his apprentice, Darth Vader. The Sith had returned.

Wanting to draw Vader out, Kota rallied some allies and captured an Imperial facility in space. You and him were running down a hallway when Kota raised his hand, signaling he had sensed something.

“I think it’s him,” Kota said. “Vader’s here. He seems dangerous…(y/n), I want you to find an escape pod and get out of here.”

"Are you crazy?” you hollered. “I’m going with you.”

“No!” Kota yelped. “Whoever this guy is, he feels too powerful. You won’t make it. It’s best off for you to live and keep on fighting for me. Head over to Vertical City. If I’m not there by the sun’s fall, you’ll know where I am. From there, head on to Felucia. Shaak Ti will take care of you.”

You gritted your teeth. You wanted to protest but at the same time, you didn’t want to disobey Kota’s orders. When Kota issued an order, you followed it.

“Yes, master,” you said bowing. You shook his hand. “It’s been an honor being your student.”

“It was an honor teaching you,” Kota said. “Now, go, my apprentice. You are not far from what you’ll soon be but I have faith in you eventually getting there.”

As you were roaming down the halls of the facility, you didn’t notice a figure lurking in the shadows, following you.

You finally came over to the escape pods, eyeing which one to choose. However, you sensed someone and immediately turned around, slashing out your lightsaber against another one, this one burning, dread red. The lightsabers fizzled out sparks upon the impact. Yet, when the other pulled away, you tried to strike down the individual by quickly throwing your lightsaber at them. The figure dodged the weapon and the weapon strike at a fuse box, darkening the room with the lights dimming.

Shit, you thought. How the hell am I supposed to see this guy now?

You tracked your movements and tried to sense where the figure was going to strike. You were caught by surprise a couple of times but you managed to raise your lightsaber against his. Yet, it was the Force pushing that caught you, as you were blown apart by a gust of wind slamming you away. You hated not being able to sense where he was coming from.

So, frantically, you held your lightsaber to find and return to the escape pod, powering it up. You yelped as you eyed the red lightsaber you faced almost lashed at you.

With one final strike, you turned around and clashed your lightsaber with the figure's. As you tried to push yourself forward to topple the figure, you glimpsed from the fizzling sparks to see a young man's face, poised and raging, attempting to push you down.

Is this...Vader? you thought. It can't be...he's so young. Maybe his apprentice? Wow...he's got to be a few years older than me.

Furious, the young man wielded his lightsaber away and Force pushed you forward. You dived back into the escape pod, grumbling from the pain as your back collided against the wall. Quickly, you kicked the power on, causing the escape pod to fire away. You got up only to fall again as the escape pod began to tumble around. You screamed as you flew around in the pod, attempting to control it.

The escape pod then circulated back into heading down to Nar Shaddaa. Seeing that the pod stopped rumbling about, you embraced for impact to the planet.

When the pod landed, you basked the door open and headed out, checking for the time of the day. Seeing that it was still daylight, you silently prayed that Kota would make it out of the facility. You then decided to scan the city around, keeping an eye out for any supsicous people.

Later, as the day droned on, you checked outside again to see that it was sunset. Fearfully glancing about, you zoomed all over the Vertical City, scanning for your master. Eventually, you found him drinking at a bar.

"Master?" you inquired as you tapped him. "Are you all right? What are you doing?"

“(Y/n)?” Kota asked. “Is that you? I recognize your voice…but I can’t see you.”

You frowned. “What do you mean?” You twirled him around on the stool and gasped, frightened.

Your master had a white bandage tape covering his eyes. On his cheeks were new fresh scars and wounds amidst from his previous battle.

“Master, what happened?” you asked. “Are you…blind?”

“I can no longer see, my apprentice,” Kota sobbed. “That boy…that horrid of a man…did this to me. With his lightsaber…he slashed my vision. I am no longer one with the Force if I am not able to see.”

You shook your head. “No! That’s not true, master. You are still one with the Force. You may not be able to see but who says you can’t use your other senses to feel with the Force? You can still be a Jedi, master.”

Yet, no matter what you did, Kota waved your comments away, sobering down to drinking his pain away. You accompanied him to whatever bar he went to and dragged him away whenever he had too much to drink. You sent out a distress call to Bail Organa, hoping that the senator would comfort him with a mission he could do.

Bail required you and your master to rescue his daughter as she had been kidnapped by the Empire from speaking out about them.

You turned to your master in hopes of cheering him up but the old Jedi denied Organa’s request. Instead, Bail arranged for you and your master to head to Cloud City for now. He would seek Shaak Ti’s assistance on Felucia.

He asked for you to go with him but you sadly informed him you couldn’t. You hated seeing your master take the form he drowned himself upon in liquor and felt the need to watch over him. Who would know if someone would put a prank on him that could lead to more trouble? Not to mention, you didn’t want any word of suspecting him to be a Jedi.

You and Kota then traveled over to Cloud City where he spent most of his days slurping up alcohol as usual in the Vapor Bar. You eyed him with caution, being wary of the people staring at both of you, particularly Kota as he would pour himself another round of Corellian brandy. You would often scold him about how he couldn’t be with the Force when he was pouring himself drinks like nothing with no hands (and if it would be better if you would pay for another drink instead of him using the Force to do it). Nevertheless, Kota grumbled on about you being a pest and how you should be appreciative that now ironically, he had time to train you when he couldn’t see.

You pushed these rambles to the side as you waited patiently for Bail’s return, hoping he’d come back soon as the incredible stink and ragged clothes of your master began to wither away.

Eventually, someone else came to your prayers.

You were about to ask the bartender to hide the Corellian brandy away from Kota when you eyed a young man in bounty hunter clothing appeared, walking over to your table.

You glared at him, throwing a protective stance between you and Kota. “Can we help you?” you inquired.

“I’m here for General Kota,” the man said.

You felt your hands slither down to your lightsaber. “And what business do you have with him? As you can see my father…isn’t in the greatest of high spirits. Plus, I don’t recall any bounties being placed on him. If so, I would like for you to tell me who is the one placing it because how could a drunk like him be such a nuisance when he’s been here this whole time?”

“I’m not here for a bounty,” the man said. He scanned the bar and lowered himself toward you. “I know who he is,” he whispered. “I’ve heard about him…I want to know if he can teach me more about the Force.”

You glanced at the man, skimming at his appearance. He was fair skinned and similarly about your age, maybe a few years older than you though and having brown hair (perhaps shaved or a bit grown?). His eyes glowed brown as well despite the low dimming light of the bar.

You shook your head. “I don’t know. It isn’t wise to discuss such things here,” you muttered.

“Who is it, (y/n)?” Kota asked. “Tell him, whoever he is, he can’t have the table. Exclusively ours as paid.”

“He’s not here for that,” you mumbled. “He’s here…to learn.”

Kota stood silent. “I’m sorry, my boy,” he stuttered. “But I’m afraid you’ll have to find someone else for that. How could I when…well…” He pointed to his wrapped bandage. “As you can see, without such sight, how could I teach someone well without knowing what else they need?”

“All I ask if for anything useful in fighting against the Empire,” the man said. “Please. We can help each other out.”

“Pff! The Empire can win for all I care!” Kota stammered. He waved his hand. “(Y/n), if you could, please escort this boy out of here. We have no business with him.”

Before you could say anything else, your ears perked up on the sound of a Stormtrooper’s voice.

“Uh-oh,” you said. “Master, I think it’s time we’d run. And as I have told you, STOP pouring drinks by yourself!”

“It’s the only thing I’m good at now!” Kota protested.

The man turned around to see some Stormtroopers walking into the bar, talking to the Ugnaught as it pointed towards your table.

“Well, whether you like it or not, we’d better get going,” the man said, flashing out a blue lightsaber.

With him, you and Kota followed him over to the Rogue Shadow, hopping on board away from the Stormtroopers.

There, you met the captain, Juno Eclipse along with a droid, PROXY. They both welcomed you on board.

The man began to tell you and Kota about his mission in bringing the Empire down. He hated the Empire and he wanted to make a change by starting something that could hurt their operations. Something that could rally up people in fighting together.

Kota marked to the man that if he wanted to prove his worth, he would first have to complete a task suggested by him. That was retrieving someone for a senator that could prove a blow to the Empire. And you were going with him.

"Whoa! Whoa! Master, are you sure that's a good idea?" you asked.

"Why not?!" Kota snapped. "You can report to me of what he's done. You'll be my eyes. Besides, maybe you'll learn a thing or two from him."

You rolled your eyes. "Master, if you really think that this is a good idea you got to be talking out of your...ow!"

You rubbed your head upon Kota slapping you on the back of your head. "Last time I checked, young lady, you're still an apprentice! If you want your training to be complete, it's best be wise to help this man. That'll be helpful in doing my part. And watch that mouth. I'm sure your parents didn't raise you to have a mouth like that and neither will I!"

You sighed in defeat as you consented with going with the man.

The man thanked him and first talked about heading over to the old Jedi Temple. There were some things he had to go get. It may help them in their quest.

Heading over to Coruscant, you traveled inside the temple with the man.

While in the temple, you tempted to distract yourself by eyeing the monuments and glimpsing through the pictures but you couldn't help sneering at the man. Something about him threw you off and you suspected that this man was someone who meant trouble. You couldn't break off that itch from the bounty hunter clothing.

You wanted to ask him questions but kept your mouth shut. You didn't want to aggravate him or anything though since maybe then, what if he really wanted to help you in fighting the Empire? So what if maybe he was a supporter or something, then found out its flaws and wanted to stop it all? Maybe it was just better if you didn't ask. It wouldn't hurt to know his name though. If he had one.

"I have a name," the man answered turning to you.

You stood frozen in your tracks. "Did you...never mind. As you could read my thoughts...look, I just want to know if me and Kota can trust you. Many of our kind have died. Sometimes I feel like we're the only ones left with Shaak Ti and others in hiding. It's scary. And if we are going to put a stop to the Empire...I want to know I won't have to raise a lightsaber against you."

The man held up his hands. "I understand. My name...is Starkiller."

You scoffed, raising an eyebrow. "Starkiller?"

The man shrugged. "I know, contradicting but...it's all I ever known. I...don't remember much of my life. My child life. All I know I was raised by some bad people and I just...wanted out. I wanted to do good. So I ran away and just...did what I can to survive. Then what I heard about the Empire...I knew what I wanted to do. So hoping with you and Kota's help, not only will I take down the Empire but I think there might be something here in connection to my father or someone I know from my past. Someone who will guide me in learning who I'm meant to be."

You nodded. "Wow...sorry for asking. I...knew my parents but lost them. That's how Kota found me. I won't lie...from how I was back then...I'm way different. I was what you call...a teen warrior queen. A rebel. I'm still kind of am..."

Starkiller burst into laughter. "Teen warrior queen? Wow, you don't look like it. I can still see you having the attitude though...how old are you?"

 "17...and a half."

 "That explains everything then."

You puffed. "Whoa! All right, pal, it was one thing with the mind reading but it's a whole other when..."

"You claim to be 17 and a half to bump your age when reality is you're 17. You had that little snap with Kota a while ago. Oh and you think that he's becoming an old fart leaving you to do all the work for him."

 You gapped. "I...I outta..."

Starkiller raised his hand. "Wait," he said. "I saw something..." He darted up ahead, leaving you to roll your eyes, knowing that possibly he said that to get out of the conversation.

Finally, you both came to a room with a holocron. Starkiller activated it. The holocron showed a man, dressed in Jedi robes. He revealed himself to be Starkiller's father. Your mind raced with thoughts as you tried to recognize the Jedi.

He didn't seem to be anyone of importance to you yet glancing over at Starkiller's eyes, you saw that he was someone he wanted to know more.

When the holocron was finished, Starkiller told you he would be back. There was a trial he had to finish. The Trial of the Spirit. A test you even haven't faced yet. Not with the war and all. You told him you would wait for him until it was finished.

Throughout the trial, you could have sworn you heard screams and yells coming from the area Starkiller battled in but kept yourself from entering the room. Starkiller had to face this challenge on his own with no help.

When he came back out, you saw his face constrained. “Are you all right?” you asked.

Starkiller nodded. “Yeah, I think so,” he said. “It’s just…there was a lot going on.”

From there on, Kota then assigned both of you to rescue Bail’s daughter, Leia. As usual, you rebelled against the idea but you tried to reason with him on how this should test Starkiller’s abilities in proving his worth.

Kota though waved your pleas and demanded that you went with him. That way, you can report back with evidence that Starkiller kept to his word.

Rolling your eyes, you followed Starkiller down to Kashyyyk.

You gasped at the sight of the planet's destruction. The trees that had once been full of life burned to a crisp with no leaves flowing in the wind. The huts were crumbled down to bits, planks and platforms all crushed together. Few fires ignited from the trees, spewing smoke into the night. Below the cliff you were on, you could spy few Stormtroopers with AT-ATs and AS-ATs, all patrolling the beach with building Imperial walls. A few Wookies were working on it, constantly zapped by the Stormtroopers.

The only beauty left of the planet was the full lit pale moon illuminating on the glistening dark waters reflecting it's light.

"How could they," you muttered. "This place...was once full of life. And they ruined it...Starkiller, are you..." You turned around to see Starkiller staring at a plummeted small hut with a mysterious symbol waving on a burned cloth.

"I've seen that before," Starkiller said, walking over to it. He touched the cloth before heading inside. You followed him in and glanced around inside the destroyed hut. Starkiller stopped before something.

"Starkiller, are you ok?" you asked, concerned from the look on his face.

He appeared to be in a trance, as if a ghost spirited in front of him. He then charged toward a box and began to rummage through it.

 "Starkiller?" you repeated.

He didn't answer you as he opened a book, shuffling through its pages. "Galen Marek," he whispered.

 You frowned. "Who's that?"

Starkiller ignored you again, turning another page. "Kento Marek...I remember now. My father...and I lived here..."

You stood silent, trying to process the information. You and Starkiller raced thoughts in your minds until Juno erupted the moment. "Are you guys ok?"

"We're fine, Juno," Starkiller mumbled into the communicator. "We just...came across something. We're on our way now."

He motioned you to continue on, following him to find Leia.

After saving her, Leia requested to both of you to destroy the Skyhook and free the Wookies. Starkiller grudgingly agreed.

You were baffled more by the notorious constructions the Imperials had built upon the planet, sinking their horrid technological parts into the planet and trapping the Wookies in enclosed compartments.

Gladly though, you and Starkiller freed the Wookies and destroyed the Skyhook, the stupid, ominous machine that would put the Wookies into more danger, sending them off to the labor camps.

You both then battled Captain Ozzik Sturn, the sick sadistic hunter who loved having a collection of the creatures' heads displayed in his trophy room.

You were so glad to give that a guy a blow to the face. You hated seeing the heads on the walls and thought a little blunt would give him another think about it, plus with all the crap he had done to this planet. (Causing Starkiller to pull you back a bit considering you were just ready to really tear him apart).

However upon rescuing Leia, Starkiller demanded where Bail was to which Kota replied he went to Felucia in search of Shaak Ti.

“Do you think she’s ok, master?” you asked. “I feel...something in the Force about that planet. Dark and gloomy. I think the Imperials on there no doubt. I just have this really bad feeling.”

“Then we’re off to Felucia. Like you rescued Leia, you’re going with Starkiller to save Organa,” Kota said.

So again, you went off to Felucia, horrified by its transformation. You couldn't believe what the Imperials had done to it.

“These bastards!” you grumbled as you glanced around the planet’s scenery.

What was once a beautiful planet full of life and prosperity was now morphed into a sinister, murky world. Similar to Kashyyyk, the planet was crumbling into a horror. The glorious blue and colored flowers transfigured into purple, nightmarish nightshades. The ground that was composed of brownish green soil blackened to a mix of scorched burnt marks. The night sky clouded with devious gray mists and midnight black. Even the Felucians who had once been amazing creatures with strange yet majestic features were now savages, ferocious fiends with spears meant to kill.

“I’ll kill them!” you hollered, bashing away to the Stormtroopers.

Starkiller had tried to calm you down but you insisted that they needed to be punished.

“How could they just do something to a planet like this?” you murmured as you crossed over a constructed bridge, eyeing the plantlife and dead Felucians they had devastated. “It’s…terrible.”

“They don’t care,” Starkiller said. “No matter how lovely a planet could seem, they’ll rip it apart. Anything for their ravaging demands.”

You huffed. “And to think Kashyyyk was bad enough.”

"I know,” Starkiller sympathized. “Once we find Bail, hopefully, like Kashyyyk, they can return to life how it was.”

You wished that was the case when you both came across the Sarlaac.

"Oh my,” you mumbled, putting your hands on your mouth. “That poor…thing.”

The Sarlaac was torn apart with a tall tower impaling into its mouth, its tentacles clasped with hooks pulling to the Imperial machines hanging onto them. The smaller tentacles swayed sadly, the creature howling with dejection.

"Starkiller,” you lamented. “Do you think…we can help it?”

“We can try to lessen its pain,” Starkiller said, his face full of sorrow for the creature. “Let’s destroy the hooks. That’ll free it a bit.”

You and him deactivated the hooks onto the creature, freeing the tentacles.  You and him then traveled down to the Sarlaac’s mouth, blasting out into the Rancor graveyard. There, Bail Organa was laying next to a branch.

"Senator Organa,” you yelped as you ran over to him. “Are you ok?”

“Ah, (y/n), I’m fine,” he said. “How’s Kota doing? I hope he’s got out of those ridiculous trances he was in. We need to get out of here. Shaak Ti’s apprentice was holding me hostage here.”

“Shaak Ti?” you said. “Where is she?”

“I don’t know,” Organa said. “No doubt…I think we know what might have happened but…”

“You’re not going anywhere,” a malicious voice hissed.

You turned around to see Shaak Ti's apprentice, Maris Brood stroll over, a few Felucians behind her. Her eyes glimmered with fury. You could sense in her heart the dark had taken over.

“(Y/n), get the Senator to safety,” Starkiller ordered, flashing out his lightsaber.

Thus, you picked up the Senator, leading him away until you faced a vicious Rancor, roaring at you.

Starkiller alternated between helping you in defeating the Rancor and to Maris. Luckily though, the Rancor fell down destroyed and you led Bail over to the Rogue Shadow.

Just as you were about to turn around to check on Starkiller, he came in right after you, running.

"What happened to Maris?” you asked.

“I let her go,” Starkiller said. “She said…she needed to think for herself. Everything about this planet…it’s all gone now. It’s all insane.”

You sighed. “Least though…maybe hopefully after this mess…it’ll be better.”

With the rescues done, it was time for one more mission. Starkiller had gotten word that there was an shipyard on Raxus Prime. With one final strike, it would prove a powerful blow to the Empire.

Once again, with one final mission, you journeyed with Starkiller to Raxus Prime to devastate the Empire’s plans. (And you didn’t object either by Kota. You wanted the Empire to pay).

Slashing through numerous Stormtroopers and some scavengers (whom some were bad anyway), you and him came across an Imperial Star Destroy flying in the air after destroying some of the Imperial technology.

"Oh, this is not good,” Starkiller muttered, glancing at the Star Destroyer soaring into the sky.

 “What’s wrong?” Kota asked.

“An Imperial Star Destroyer is totally about to crush us,” you answered. “Juno, get the ship ready!”

“Wait!” Kota said. “You can both use the Force in bringing it down to the cannon.”

“Ok, master, that’s crazy!” you hollered. “You told me even doing just a thing…”

“I know what I said!” Kota roared. “But you need to trust me. We don’t have anything left to decide. Concentrate on pulling the ship and you’ll both bring it down. You can do it.”

So to your master’s wishes, you and Starkiller teamed together in bringing the ship down. It was hard as you felt yourself beginning to lose focus, your energy wearing out fast. Still, you and him continued to blend into the Force, crashing the ship down.

As the ship headed to both of you, you titled your head to Starkiller.

There was so much mysteriousness in him. You still wanted to ask who he was. Why was he doing this. Why was he so distant from his past. You could tell a little about him but there was much left to answer.

Yet, it was all replaced from the look on his face, focused on bringing down the Imperial ship. You smiled. It was the same look he had upon killing the Stormtroopers on Kashyyyk and Felucia, freeing the the Wookies and Sarlaac, destroying the Skyhook and technology that absorbed the planet’s life. He was determined to bring an end to the Empire, to build a rebellion and show people the secrets they held.

It didn’t matter no more about his past or who he could be. He was renewing himself into someone that would be free from a dark past into a hopeful future. You decided to erase all the questions you still wanted to ask.

 “Hey, Starkiller,” you grumbled.

 "Little busy here,” Starkiller ranted.

"I know,” you uttered. “I just wanted to let you know…that, thank you. Thank you for doing this. Thank you for exposing the horrors that the Empire is. I know I may not know you much but…I don’t care who you were before. You’re a hero. I hope people will know that.”

Starkiller grinned. “Uh…thank you…a little more focus on the ship?”

 You giggled. “With pleasure.”

At last, you and him pulled the ship down together. You then rolled out of the way, landing onto a platform, however, horribly plummeting your nose against the ground.

“Ow!” you hissed, gripping it. “That hurt.” You glanced around. “Starkiller?"

You turned around to see Starkiller getting up, dusting himself off. "I'm fine," he said. "So...ready to head back?"

After that mission, Bail rallied up any of the senators that could help him, all heading over to Corellia’s arctic wastes. From there, you watched the birth of the Rebellion, each of the senator’s taking on a role.

You were surprised to see even your master had joined.

“Well, someone had come to their senses,” you snickered, playfully, seeing that your master had tidied his hair, dressed in proper clothing and discarded the bandage he wore.

He gave a swap to the back of your head.

 "Ow! What was that for?”

“I may be blind but don’t think I’m not deaf enough to hear the smart comebacks you have,” Kota warned.

You could hear Starkiller to your side, chuckle.

“Hey, pal, don’t think that speech I gave to you on Raxus will leave you off the hook,” you muttered.

"Teen warrior queen attitude,” he sniggered.

 You slapped his arm.

As Bail concluded the meeting, a loud screech rang through the building you held the meeting in.

 “What was that?” you inquired.

You gazed up to see Star Destroyers and small Imperial ships soaring through the sky.

 “No,” Starkiller mumbled.

An explosion rumbled down the door. Snowtroopers marched in, firing away.  Another figure appeared behind them. He worn what looked like a black mechanical suit with a familiar helmet.

“Well, done, my apprentice,” Darth Vader hissed, glaring at Starkiller.

You glanced over at him wildly. Him? Yyou thought. Anger seeped into your heart. Him?! Now, it all made sense.

As you tried to protect Leia, you watched the senators crowd around each with the approach of the Snowtroopers. Kota charged at Vader but gagged as Vader raised his arm up, clutching his hands, choking the Jedi. He then threw him to the side.

You dodged a couple of the Snowtroopers’ blast but with Vader’s turn to you, you knew you were screwed.

Like your master, you attempted to Force charge yourself against him but was met by his choke. He threw you outside though, all the way to the frigid winter storm.

After a few minutes of regaining your energy, you glanced up to see the Rogue Shadow land. You also saw a person not a few feet away from you, on the ground. Starkiller.

Getting up, you helped Juno in getting Starkiller into the ship. You told her what had happened to which she was surprised by all. She finally though told you all about who they were. It was no doubt that the secret was out.

When Starkiller awoke, you gave him a good punch, scolding and demanding what in the world he was?

"Ow!” Starkiller snapped. “Ok, first, you don’t go around punching people like that. Second…look, ok, I did work with Vader, all right? But in the end…I want change. He betrayed me. Left me out to die. I thought maybe something could be different and I told him I didn’t want them knowing of who I am but…he did it again. The Empire doesn’t care. To them, it’s all credits and everything that can clear their name. Just like they used me.”

"That’s what you get for working with a backstabber like him,” you hissed.  “Why else would he do this?”

“What else am I supposed to know though when you’ve grown up working for him?” Starkiller growled.

You rolled your eyes, huffing. He did have a point though. You exactly couldn’t blame him. If Vader was all that he ever learned his training from…what else would he have known?

"I don’t want to be in your little argument,” Juno erupted. “But we have some senators to save, right?”

After mediating with Starkiller on where they could be, you and him sensed a space station.

The Rogue Shadow ventured over to a huge circular ship, floating in space. It was gray and metallic, still in construction with a giant hole centered around on the top.

"What in the world is this thing?” you asked.

"Not sure,” Juno said. “Whatever it is, it seems highly classified. Be careful you two. This is definitely something that’s not compared to what you have faced.”

She then placed the ship down over to the docks. Right before Starkiller joined you though, you turned around to see Juno pull Starkiller to her for a kiss.

Something about that made you feel queasy and…jealous? You shook your head. Whoa, how could you like this guy? Ok, so maybe he was a bit cute but after all that he had done? Ok, so again, technically not his fault since he did grow up being taught by Vader and…

"Umm, (y/n)?” Starkiller said, snapping his fingers. “Are you ok?”

You broke away from your thoughts. “Sorry…I was thinking about something. Let’s go find them.”

You and him then battled through the station, searching for the senators. You sensed that Leia was held prisoner in a cell.

"Leia’s on the other side,” you said to him. “What should we do?”

Starkiller thought for a bit. “Rescue her,” he said. “I’ll get the other senators to hop onto the Rogue Shadow and we’ll get out of there.”

"What?” you stammered. “What are you saying? You know we can…”

"(Y/n), I can sense them nearby but…I have no doubt Vader and the Emperor are there. You need to go and find Leia. I don’t know what’s going to happen when I find the senators but…if anything, you and Leia need to continue this on. Let people know there’s hope in stopping the Empire.”

You gulped. “Starkiller…I mean, Galen…I mean, ugh. Do you think that…what if we can…”

"No!” Starkiller shouted. “Look, I know the possibilities are endless but…there’s no saying what Vader and the Emperor will do. And what probably already happened. Still, you and Leia can help.”

You sighed. You felt your heart shatter. Even though he had betrayed you, you still felt that he was good. He had created a rebellion against the Empire. He had sought redemption in getting back at Vader. A man was that was born in darkness had now seek the light.

 "I'll go,” you murmured.

You shook his hand. And gave him a slap.

“Ow!” Starkiller growled. “Why did you do that again?”

“That’s for all the crap you possibly did as Vader’s apprentice that I don’t want to know,” you said. You then hugged him. “And this…is thank you for all you’ve done. I hope you make the right choice in the end, G…S…whoever are you.”

You then pulled away from him. “May the Force be with you.” You dashed off to find Leia.

You and her boarded onto a TIE Fighter, zooming out into space back to Alderaan. Not before stopping by Kashyyyk to pick up one last thing. A symbol for the Rebellion. The Marek family crest.

While at Alderaan, you and Leia waited for any word from her father or any of the senators in reviving the Rebellion. When no word came, you comforted Leia in her father’s death. Now, you and her rose to attack the Empire.

As the years passed, you grew and became Leia’s right hand woman and protector, slashing away any enemies that wanted to kill her. You and her had developed a sister-like friendship, both wanting to gain revenge towards the Imperials for all that they had done.

On these adventures with leading the Rebellion with her, you had met numerous people. One of them was Luke Skywalker whom you had sensed was with the Force. Offering some of your guidance, you helped him from all your old teachings from Master Kota.

Now, you were on the planet Hoth, after the destruction of the Death Star. Even with running around with Leia on planning more assaults, avoiding Han’s flirtation, training Luke, occasionally mediating and resting, you thought about Starkiller.

You wondered if he had survived but was in hiding. Ashamed. Defeated. Maybe he had tried to rescue the senators but Vader and the Emperor proved too much for him. Should he have ever shown his face…you would sympathize with him.

It wasn’t his fault after all. He did what he could.

"Someone’s coming,” Luke warned. “I think it’s him.”

You readied your lightsaber. “Well, let’s not keep him waiting.”

Luke readied his and you watched a figure dressed in dark clothing approach you. He was wearing what looked like a suit like Vader’s, with a belt glowing with red buttons with black leather and silver armor. On his belt was clips of lightsabers with a flowing black cape tied to it. His helmet was even a bit like Vader’s but smoother and seemed a bit more frightening. On his hands, were razor claws.

You turned to Luke, shocked. Any idea? you mumbled.

Luke frowned. His face told you everything about the mysterious man. He was no one you both were never expecting.

“You must be the son of Vader,” the figure screeched, hissing in a mechanical, robotized voice. He glowered over to you. “And you…I haven’t seen in years.”

Your heart froze with fear. “What are you talking about?” you trembled.

“(Y/n), go find Leia and Han, I’ll take care of him,” Luke said.

You glared at him. “Luke, are you insane? This guy looks like he means business. There’s no way.”

“I’ll be fine,” Luke insisted. “You need to go and protect Leia. Just…trust me.”

You then peered into his mind, hearing that if it got worse, there were some Wampas trapped in the door beside you.

"Be careful,” you warned, before heading back to the hangar.

You raced over to find Leia, barking at Han to power up the Falcon and be prepared to lift off. The Empire was on their way.

"I’ll stay here with Luke,” you said. “There’s someone he’s battling and I don’t think he’ll make it.”

“Are you sure?” Leia asked. “(Y/n), we…”

"I know, Leia,” you said. “I got your back and everything but…I don’t want Luke to die. He means a lot to the Rebellion too. Don’t worry. I’ll take care of him. Go now!”

Leia sighed. “May the Force be with you.” She then headed over inside the Falcon. The Millennium Falcon powered up, soaring out to the sky.

As you watched this, you turned around and screamed as Luke hurled toward you, crashing to the ground, battered and scared.

“Luke,” you comforted, patting him. “Are you ok?”

You glanced up to see the mechanized figure. The figure glared at you, breathing slightly like…Vader’s.

You shivered, quaking your hand to your lightsaber(s). “Just who the hell are you?”

The figure chuckled. “It has been a while since we met,” he hissed. “You were quite young…and now you have grown into a beautiful young woman. Mmmmm…” His robotic voice mechanized out a sssslll of a tongue licking.

You quivered and dueled out your lightsaber(s).

The figure cackled, shaking his head. "What a disappointment," he murmured. "You know you won't win."

 "I can try," you hissed.

The figure sighed. "Your fate, sweetheart," he cooed.

You dove forward, clashing lightsabers with him. The figure would once zap out purple lighting from his fingers. You would try to shield it with your lightsaber but some of it lingered over to you, sending little shocks. You would attempt to Force push him back but it recoiled with his Force push.

He then grabbed a hold of you with the Force. You yelped in terror as you flew around in the air, waving your body around to disable the Force.

He slammed you over to one of the equipment for the ships. You yowled in pain as your back collided with the equipment, clutching your arms, shriveling up.

He prepared to move toward you but ducked upon a lightsaber swinging his way. The lightsaber swung back to Luke, angrily stomping over to him.

Luke and the figure rushed to each other, dueling lightsabers once more.

You gritted your teeth as you watched them battle, occasionally glancing over at the Snowtroopers and Rebels shooting at each other. You glimpsed back to see Luke, terrorized, as you watched the figure hold onto Luke’s leg who had fallen on the ground. Luke was grasping onto his arm, revealing a sliced hand.

The figure swiped Luke up into the air, bashing into a Snowspeeder that glided by. Luke thundered to the ground, obliterated.

“Luke!” you screamed. You got up and trenched over to him until the figure twisted his hand, lifting you by the Force.

You scooted over to the figure who gripped onto your neck, making you gasp for air.

“Give in, Skywalker,” the figure sneered. “Or your friend dies.” He held up his other hand, his claws gleaming into the dim headlights.

“No,” Luke mumbled, getting up, holding his stomach.

“Fine then,” the figure jeered. He raised his claws and slashed them into your cheek. You whimpered as you felt a gashing wound open, leaking out blood. It dripped down to the snow.

“No!” Luke stammered. “Let her go, please.”

“Join me then,” the figure said.

“No, Luke,” you whined. “Go find Leia and the others. I’ll be fine.”

The figure flexed his claws. He raised them again and lighting zapped over to you, electrifying you all over.

You shrieked, quaking to the electricity wringling about in you.

The figure waved his claws away, ending the shocks. “Don’t make me consider other heinous options,” the figure warned.

“Ok,” Luke sniffed. “I’ll give in. Just…don’t hurt her no more.”

The figure laughed. “Do me a favor then,” he snarled as he lashed out his lightsaber, making you wobble around, daring to escape. “Turn to the dark side.”

Luke raised his head up, his eyes flashing to hideous yellow. He bellowed out in fury, shooting out a ray of red lighting toward the figure.

The figure released you and focused on deflecting the incoming lighting with his lightsaber. He flinched the lighting back over to Luke, zapping him.

Luke rose again though. He stood, waiting to obey and kill. He was now a morphed man.

“No!” you squealed, getting up to run to Luke. “What did you do to him? Luke!”

You were then hit by the back with something, knocking you out. All you heard last was, “Take them both on board. Leave her to a little private cell. I’d like to spend some time with her alone.”

You woke up to see that you were inside a cell. A comfy sort of cell that was large with a bed to the side. And staring right ahead of you was the figure you and Luke battled, squatting on his knees, glaring.

You crawled away, terrified. “I don’t know you are,” you whimpered, recognizing what he was going to ask. "I swear...I don't know."

The figure breathed heavily, slowly extending out a claw. You slithered back, gazing at the claw delicately crawl against your shredded cheek.

“Such a shame,” the figure boomed. “If only had time not flown by so fast, perhaps we could have known one another more. Previous to what we had known.”

You shed a tear as the claw slid down to your neck to your ear, caressing your hair. “Who are you?” you repeated. “You’re not Vader…there’s no way you’re not. How could you know me as well?”

The figure cackled, ferociously. “My dear (y/n),” he cooed. “I knew you well before…I knew you as I watched the Emperor gladly kill your master.”

You gasped. You remembered who your master was. And who this man was. “Starkiller?” you sobbed. “What…happened?”

Starkiller remained quiet before speaking. “I killed Vader,” he said, proudly. “And now, I serve the Emperor. All as planned. Soon, as before my master, I will topple the Emperor off his throne with Luke as my apprentice. And you too can join me…if you would accept my offer.”

You shook your head. “Starkiller,” you sniffed. “I’m…so sorry. I knew I should have stayed with you. This wouldn’t have happened then. What did he do to you?”

You scooted closer, glancing at the mask he wore. Starkiller titled his head up, echoing his breathing out clearly. It scoffed up and then purred out.

You pressed your fingers against his mask, eyeing the prints left on them. You then leaned your forehead against his visor. “I’m so sorry,” you murmured.

Starkiller grumbled, his voice guttering inside his mask.

You smoothed your hands all around his mask. You then searched all around with your fingers, feeling for anything, a switch, some sort to see…

Starkiller suddenly whisked out his bladed claws, slicing them down deeper across your face near the scared wound, creating new fresher liquefying bloody marks.

You screeched in horror, feeling the sizzling pain of the air sear into the flesh.

Starkiller smiled at his blooded claws. “Don’t think you’re so smart in taming me,” he giggled. “I will not succumb to the light. Not after what I had done for you all only to be left in the darkness. The darkness in the end was all that cared for me.”

“Then I won’t give in,” you growled. “I can sense it in you. There’s still the Starkiller/Galen I know…please…you don’t have to do this.”

Starkiller shook his head. “It’s already too late,” he said. “Since you will not give in then…”

He slapped you across the face, crashing you down to the floor. You spat out blood, glaring up at the Emperor’s apprentice standing up.

“I will have use for you for other needs,” he grinned. “My personal…slave.”

Your eyes widen, petrified. “No,” you mumbled as you began to feel yourself Force push towards him, scatting over back to the wall.

You were kicked down with Starkiller opening the cell door. You felt your limbs lock in place, freezing your movements.

“No!” you yelped, scraping your nails onto the floor.

Starkiller cackled, diving his claws into your clothes, dragging you away.

“Nonononono!” you babbled, quivering, wriggling all around to free yourself from his grasp. Yet, you were doomed to be his.

 "Nonononononono!"

Yes, Starkiller is totally cool. I'm glad that he was canon for a bit until Disney came. Still, he'll always be technically canon for me. I wish he was noticed a bit more. I feel like he's so underrated along with the game. You can say they're not the best but they're still great Star Wars games. It makes me wish The Force Unleashed 3 can still be made.

And I also wish that there was some more stuff on Lord Starkiller. I feel bad for what happened to him and all but he's basically like a second badass Darth Vader. XD

I enjoyed this story.
OH SAD MOMENT WHEN Kota fight with that guy, right?
That's so... I can relate it to Rebels, Kanan Jarrus now... But he was blinded by the enemy not his Padawan.

Thank you!

Yeah, I've noticed the similarities of Kota and Kanan except the former was a Jedi Master while Kanan was a Padawan (right?) Also like you said, Kota was blinded by Starkiller whom didn't realize would soon later ally with while Kanan was by the enemy.

YW ^ ^

Yes Kanan is Padawan...
If with more details, Kanan was blinded by Maul and only cause his student (Padawan) Ezra Bridger, will trust Maul but Kanan still don't like that idea and he was right. Ezra then blame himself and also for Ahsoka  -- this really not his fault, she fight with Vader and then save them.

In third season, Ezra still blamed himself in everything but Kanan said that he don't ever blamed him for what happened.
Oh sorry this is a little spoiler if you don't watched Season three. sorry.
