Description Fleet Admiral T'Pok was a bit surprised by the tenacity and ferocity of the wave of attacks by what remained of the Terran Empire's once proud star fleet. From his point of view, what was being launched against his own ships didn't even constitute a fraction of what the Empire had been capable of just a generation ago.

But then again, how could one explain the use of the old-style "sleeper ships" retrofitted for orbital police action and picket duty, while others were simple assault shuttles laden with payloads of missiles and other ordinance. But nothing that would pose a serious problem for his overall agenda.

This matter could be dealt with easily enough, while the bulk of his fleet could be committed to the landing action below. Already, choice areas had been mapped out for the outgoing troop ships that would be used to pacify any possible resistance on the planet below--while fighters would stand guard over their designated zones and police the region.

However, the seasoned combat veteran didn't foresee any problems. This was just one more planet to add to the Vulcan Assembly; a gift to the general staff and more of a reason for the man to see an end to this little skirmish before these...humans decided to mount anything more than a passing revolt under their new master's leadership.

T'Pok tapped a forward screen to zoom in on an area closer to the south polar regions of the Pacific. A place the humans called "Drake Island".

"Captain L'Mer. You may begin Operation Zo-Gen. Deploy my forces here." He ordered nonchalantly, while sipping on a cup of warm tea.

The other woman nodded. "At once, Admiral." She said, before giving orders to the command crew around her and through them--the next phase of this campaign.

Interesting. A Vulcan invasion of Earth, instead of First Contact. Wow!

This happened after First Contact, seen in the episode of "A Mirror Darkly".

Impressive. I didn't think that the Vulcans had dynastic ambitions.

Not in the Prime Universe, but the Mirror Universe runs a bit differently.

There's not a whole lot known about the Mirror Universe during First Contact save for the "A Mirror, Darkly" episodes and the collected STAR TREK Mirror Universe series. (Which I have.)

In the episode, "A Mirror, Darkly" Archer makes some passing reference to how Zefram Cochrane turned the tables on Vulcan's invasion force: "We'd be your slaves instead of the other way around."
