Balancing my jobs, and upcoming trip, as well as working on the comic pages has been seriously draining lately! I haven't painted in a long while, and always seem to get a bit restless and depressed when I don't. So, I decided to paint another Perdita portrait, but this time depicting her at an older, more mature age [approx. 24, from the comic prologue] –– The comic I'm working on takes place predominantly in the 2140s, but I can never pass up the opportunity to incorporate historical fashion references and mashups! I usually draw Perdita in Edwardian inspired clothing [at least for her formalwear] but I decided to mix it up and pair some Regency and Elizabethan fashion references, and I think it came out well!Painted in Adobe Photoshop CS6 with a Wacom Intuos3 tablet; I worked on and off for about 5 days, and I like the result <3 I wanted to try painting her in a different color dress [she always ends up in blue for some reason] but the blue and gold combo just feels right at home here (◡‿◡✿) *✧･ﾟ
