LOLOLOLOL!!! My Noxic cosplay! Judging by the pose, it looks more like Schwartz than Noxic
It's still unfinished and I'm not gonna work on it until Fanime comes around (May-ish). Hahaha laziness...
Although it's not done, I actually debuted this at Anime LA (January 9, 2010...and that's when I postponed on working on the costume LOL). And yeah, I had a lot of "WTF is that" kind of stares and "OMG that's so COOL" type of reactions. Hahaha a lot of people whipped out their cameras on me too (I will not be surprised if I end up in one of those worst cosplays of all time websites LOL).
There were three things that struck me on that day:
1) Two little girls (they look like 5 year olds) came up to me and wanted to take a picture. I thought that was EXTREMELY CUTE!
2) Although this costume had drawn a lot of attention, not many people knew who I was. Some people had mentioned Beetleborgs, but not the character. BUT one person knew who I was cosplaying as. He commented, "Love the Noxic!" That made me extremely happy and I gave him a big hug for that.
3) Someone thought I was a life-sized doll and not an actual human, until I walked LOL!

Noxic is my favorite of the Terrible Trio. I think it's his voice and actions. While I plan to cosplay next year at Comiccon as Dr. Light the year after I was thinking of following in a friends footsteps and add a them to it each year so for that year I'll be Noxic Light.

I'm rewatching Beetleborgs on Youtube. I forgot how funny it was.

WOOT YEAH! Noxic! He was always one of the best of the magnavores when Typhus wasn't letting junk out of that weird mouth of his (smoke and bees for instance... lol). :3 He is sooo cool looking and well designed. Wish I could cosplay as him, but I'm a liiiittle too big. >.< But anyways, awesome costume! Looks really cool! But I was wondering... wasn't the cuff thing in his upper left arm more like a cuff instead of being his arm? That's how it always looked to me.

Ohhh boy! Sorry for the extremely late reply! Been so busy these days! Anyway, thanks for appreciating my costume! And about the cuff thing, yes I was very aware that it was a cuff, but due to both time restraints and laziness back then, I just made it into a cheap strap LOL! Though I do plan to make the cuff if I were to wear this costume again

You are very welcome. ^^ How did you make the mask and such? All that work seems like it would take a very long time with just paper mache. And did the mouth move sometimes when you talked? If not, I have a good idea on how to make it move a bit while you do talk. Just a possible little idea for a more advanced costume maker.

The mask was bought from a Michaels. I just painted over it and stuck some foam to make the "goggles" lol. By the way, how often do you go to my Borgs/B-Fighter blog?? Plenty of stuff and links, and I still have so much to put on there!

I go there every now and then. It's pretty cool. I mostly like looking up the monsters and characters. Honestly, the second series of Beetleborgs, the further in it got, kinda ruined the show for me. ESPECIALLY since the show ends with a cliffhanger cause they couldn't find clips to mess with from the other show. I still need to check out B-Fighter. From what I've read, it is pretty cool. I'm kinda getting more into Oh Rangers though (can't remember the whole name for the life of me. 
Okay, for the mask, what I'm thinking it making a little ledge on the inside of the mask that goes around ur chin, kinda like a chinstrap, and putting two thin pieces of metal (curved or straight, whichever you prefer) onto the chin part of the mouth. Then you take another piece of metal or whatever you can find that might be better and attach it to the chin strap so it moves with your mouth.

Chouriki Sentai Ohranger is pretty good and it's no surprise that you got into it ^_^ But definitely check into Juukou B-Fighter. Even though the series isn't subbed save for three episodes, it's still worth a watch and it's pretty easy to follow. And since you're a Noxic fan, you definitely should watch this show! After watching his Japanese counterpart in B-Fighter, Noxic certainly became one of my fave characters of all time ^_^

Awesome! ^^ Whats this I keep hearing about his special ability? That he can take off his head and put it on any piece of machinery to control it. I only ever saw it twice with Noxic, first with the golem in beetleborgs, and then in his dream with the bulldozer. Does Schwartz use it more often in B-Fighter?

Schwartz does use it more often within one episode...mostly attaching his head on top of female mannequins lol! But he never really detached his head, more like his body was destroyed in an explosion by the B-Fighters' Beet Machines. It's really not explicitly said that Schwartz can freely remove his head from his body like Noxic...But his head can never be destroyed 
He makes some pretty neat inventions too...like an umbrella that acts like a glider and a machine gun (The Penguin???), a "Love-Hate" Beam gun that brainwashes people to do the opposite of what they normally do, an aging machine that makes living organisms young or old, and some others. He's probably the smartest of the three Jamahl generals, even though he's crazy and irrational
...oh yeah, he also shoots electrical sparks from his hands lol!
