Personality: Mayu is a shy and nice girl that has a bit of a quiet voice. She hesitates with her decisions and sometimes panics too much to a point that she begins to cry. On stage, she is still a bit shy about confidence but is able to produce a strong voice while singing. She seems calmer while singing and more mature. There are times when she gets excited about some topics or events but will blush and began to mumble an apology.

Biography:
Elementary: When Mayu was very young, her mother left the house for unknown reasons. Soon her father fell in love months after and remarried when Mayu turned 11. Mayu had two new little sisters and a mother that taught her about teas and gardens. Her little sisters were very kind to her and would always want to braid her hair since it was a different color from theirs.
Middle School: When Mayu started middle school, she was constantly teased for her hair color and eye color. seeing that Mayu couldn't help it that her hair and eye color were different, she ignored their hate. Soon, everyone started pretending that she wasn't there. However, they managed to notice her every time she would say something and would laugh at her for everything and anything she said. Soon after her class started ignoring her, she sealed her ability to speak. One day Mayu was walking home while some girls from her class were bullying her and calling her names, she met a certain redhead that was performing at the park who stood up for her at a park. Mayu started to go to the park more to hear him perform and he got her to sing with him.
Before and during BA: Mayu went back to school and ignored (but still scared) the bullies to finish middle school. She trained to become a great singer and applied for Blossom Academy, wanting to sing Shouta's songs. When she got accepted, Mayu met many people from her school and others. After three months at BA, Mayu found out that her stepmom is Shouta's sister and that they are related by marriage. However, she has been producing her friends and their concerts, ignoring her own jobs and helping Mask with his. While doing this, Mayu has lost the trust in her fans. Some began to cyber bully her and saying mean things, like that Mayu is a failure Idol. Seeing all the hate, Mayu gets depressed and decides to leave BA, not confident in her skills anymore. Her and Natsume even stopped their relationship since he was starting a new brand and she left like she messed up too much by working with Mask. She leaves the idol world and begins to live at home.
Before MRA: Mayu sits at home, depressed. Nagisa and Shouta visit her and try to convince her to be an idol again because she loves being on stage. She admits to them that she isn’t okay and feels horrible again, almost depressed. With their help she was able to get some confidence again about her skills. However, she felt like she needed a new start so decided to go to MRA with Nagisa and Kuro. Cleaning up some things in her past, Mayu decided to go to the school with a bit a confidence.
