BIO:

Always shunned from foster home to foster home, Maria eventually ended up with a foster family that treated her more like a pet than family. Her siblings bullied her, her foster parents abused her and yet, she always kept a hopeful and positive attitude. Then came the day when a Typo came to visit and everything changed. Maria tried to help her step-family, but they refused to listen to her and ended up getting killed. With her dying breath, her stepmother’s last words were “you did this,” which left Maria broken-hearted and ready to accept her fate as the Typo turned its attention to her. That’s when the Godmother and the Wolf appeared and rescued her. Feeling sympathy for Maria, the wolf persuaded Godmother to let her join G.R.I.M.M and he and Maria soon became like siblings. Maria frowns on how many in the organization treat her step-brother and wish they’d see the good person he really is. She and Victor train together and encourage each other to get better. She’s proud to be one of the 12 Fables and hopes to inspire and motivate other agents to do their best and to believe in a brighter future. It’s because of her past life and her new one that she chose to adopt the persona of Cinderella.
