it's kinda big XD

Last year my friends and I loved being slifer the sky dragon in the San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival Parade :>

so this year we wanted to make another dragon-parade-type and we were like... "what's another chinese-dragon thing..."

SHENRON

it's like... THE long-ass dragon everyone knows of because of the much-loved Dragonball series :>

the head's base is cardboard with elastic to keep the jaw in place and bounce open and closed, body is fabric all sewn together, the tail comes out of a cluster of the dragonballs (1-3,5-7) in front of the dragon is a bouncy ball painted gold with the 4 stars on it :>

the gi we all wore were made by and she did an awesome job with the emblems/logos :>

I don't have the names/alias for the Super Sayian Bardock and the Maid that was with him... >: (if you see this lmk so i can credit you!!!) but lol yeah they were like the only other DB charas we saw so we're like JOIN USSSSSS XD

we don't have any other "long ass" parade costume ideas... :/ (someone's apparently already made an orochimaru-snake and Renji hiho Zabimaru ones?) so no idea wtf to do for next year XD

I really liked the parade this year the weather was super-nice, a little hot but like yeah water is good. that and suntan lotion D:
