My eyes are an ocean in which my dreamsare reflected - Anna M. Uhlich.
Castiel in his true form, Dean lecturing him about something. Sad celestial cow-face.
I think the secret behind Cas’s eye-smexing is that he has 4 pairs looking at you the whole time. Intense like Woah!
Inspired by gabby_silang’s fic ‘Primitive’ on LJ. I can’t link it coz it’s dirty, but go hunt down this girls work, her Cas/Dean fics are all very original and wrong (so wrong it’s right baby!)

I can totally see Castiel's true eyes being reflected in his vessel's eyes. The bird is when he is angry, the lion when he is thinking/being cunning, and the cow is when he is sad. Very nice work

Oh, the things I love about this, they are numerous and great and could fill up a million of these paltry comment boxes.

The winsg, oh the wings, I have much love for them. and the eyes ! all the eyes! they're so blue and ~intense~, it's BEAUTIFUL, I want to stare at them forever and forever and never stop. Seriously, no words, man, no words, or maybe too many? I am too much in awe to really tell the difference any more. SO GOOD.

Ahh, wow, what a lovely comment! Now in canon we know that Cas is the size of a large skyscraper, so everytime they're like this, Dean is practically standing in Cas's entrance-way. :/ that sounded less weird in my head.

Can u please enlighten me were they say in the show that this is his true form. I have seen one more pic with thees heads. But I cant remember when we got that information. Please help me out its driving me nuts not to know!!! And yeah the drawing is magnificent.

Well, in season 5 x 16 Zachariah says 'In heaven I have six wings and 4 faces, one of them is a lion' - this is a reference to the book of Revelation where they're described like that!

I think the writers took creative liberty when describing Zachariah like that. Because Seraphim have the six wings and Cherubim have the 4 faces (man, ox, lion, griffon vulture), but only have 4 conjoined wings.

This is amazing. Dean and Castiel are perfect, and even though they take up such a tiny portion of the picture, the UST is still rolling off them in waves. This reminds me of another fic, also titled My Eyes are an Ocean, by Entangled_now which is a fantastic read
Your digital painting style is beyond impressive, you made excellent palette choices all around <3 You took an amazing approach to the concept, it's both original and brilliantly executed! And can I say, you chose excellent animals to represent each of Castiel's different personas
The only thing that possibly distracts me a little is the Hawk/Eagles eye. I think since it's so big that the blue is a bit too vibrant, my eye is immediately drawn and held there rather than any of the other subjects. I think if the blue was a TINY bit more muted it'd make it less of a focal point, but still be striking and beautiful.
Usually, I'm far too shy to offer critique (because in the past people have taken unkindly to it and gotten defensive to the point of being offensive), but since you clearly put a lot of time and effort on to this, I'd just like to give you some sort of feedback
