Is Cadence actually Cadence, or could she possibly be Chrysalis? It seems like this series would be more fitting if Cadence was simple AU and a different pony compared to her show counterpart, but I could definitely see Chrysalis causing this sort of thing and producing this result, as well as keeping this in this way. Sometimes it feels like Applebloom was whispered to a lot, and Chrysalis is awfully good at getting ponies to fall under her spell.
Though more logically it's just Cadence instead of some imposter... It just makes me wonder how Twilight is handling her foalsitter/sister in law turning into this, maybe Cadence was never her foalsitter to begin with? Similar to how the CMC's backstory changed.
I can just imagine the anguish Twilight is going through, if she's really alive somewhere...

Because if you're actually serious, you would be breaking the norm of sarcastic writing-style, but maybe you're actually being sarcastic, and hinting us about the future, which would be the obvious thing, and because it's the obvious thing, you might actually serious, because then it wouldn't be as obvious anymore, but then again...

I thought all the elements in this world were killed. So, either this is a flash back, or Twi is alive. PLEASE BE THE SECOND ONE. Your story is both one of the funniest and also darkest comics I've read. So, all I can say is, there had better be a good ending, because that is were I have seen so many stories like this fail.
