Why Ghost is on a leash?
Ghost still loves to explore and gets lost with a certain frequency, so to stop this problem PK put them on a leash.
So this is an AU I’m making, okay so I was making a fanfic to go with this image, but dunno if I ever going to complete it, so this is the basics:
White Lady finds Pale King plan dumb and when he was away on his many royal meetings that take days, she orders some Kingmoulds to go to the Abyss and pick any vessel they can find. And then she forces him to become a better parent.

In my AU, after the events of the game, PK's soul is caught up by a being known as He Who Sees All, a deity of sorts of Karma (OC of mine xD), and is forced to live through everything he did, though he willingly takes this punishment as his pride is broken down and he realizes what horrors he inflicted on countless innocent lives, including the mental abuse of the Hollow Knight. He is then sent back to the world of the living, reincarnated into one of the Vessels he created, reborn in the Abyss. He manages to make his way out, determines to find Hollow and finally tell them what he was too stupid, arrogant and cowardly to say before.
Hollow survives with severe PTSD and Little Ghost ascends and becomes the Lord Shade, though refuses to accept their newfound power and forces everything down into their shell and returns to Hallownest. A couple other OCs of mine appear, though only ones that actually fit in the narrative well and make it work with my expanded universe.
Hollow Knight is an amazing game and has caught my attention like none other lmao
