He gets frustrated when people rely on emotions as it compromises them in his eyes, but he proves to be a hypocrite in this sense. He prefers reasoning and logic above all else. Often Ramses is observant of others emotions and mannerisms, but due to an emotional disconnect he often doesn’t act on it. TL;DR (Summary)

Little kid was born to a happy family, Dad dies of illness. Mom gets super strict and the godfather of Ramses steps in to mentor him to give the mom and kid a break. Kid is happier with his godfather and they goof around while his godfather teaches him about fighting to protect his mother and himself. Godfather is apparently a high enough class fighter that he has rivals that wants to kill him. Godfather is killed on a hunting trip, Ramses tries to get revenge but as a child he is inexperienced and nearly dies after the attacker severs his arm off. Ramses is so traumatized over the sight of the death of his godfather and the emotions and hatred towards himself and the attacker, his mind splits into two extremes. Mother is stressed and in the heat of a fight and unable to deal with her sons illness she says she never wants to see her son again. Ramses leaves with his godfathers weapons to take revenge and end his life after the deed is done, to see his godfather again.

Extended Bio

Born in a lower-class part of the cities on the ground the Sadihi family always made due with what they could. Despite money struggles they lived as a happy content family, besides a little bump. The boy’s father had persistent health issues since he was a child, and it was taking a physical and mental toll on him in his later years. His brother, Amon, stepped up to help with the fatherly duties, as his brother became too ill persistently became a father figure in the boy's life.

Soon when the boy reached his early teens, his father succumbed to his illness, leaving his family life at a shocked standstill. His mother fell into a crippling depression over the loss of her husband and the stress of managing a child on her limited income. Lashing out emotionally at her son she became strict and totalitarian. Thus the Ramses who was normally a happy child became submissive and agreeable to avoid his mother’s scorn. Amon realized his sister-in-law's behavior would emotionally stunt his nephew; he took Ramses under his wing acting as a mentor.

Giving the mother a break and his nephew some freedom back, the child began to open up again. Excited that Ramses was responding positively, Amon began to teach the boy of his trade. Amon was an experienced guard and hunter for food. Wanting to protect and provide for his mother Ramses grew enthusiastic, even if he wasn’t for fighting if he could make his mother happy it was all he wanted.

Ramses began to fancy Amon’s bow, but the bow being too big for his body, unfortunately, and he had to use a practice bow until he grew and built up arm strength. Amon promised him that the bow would be a gift if he worked hard for it. Determined the boy trained hard for years until he was able to pull the bow back on his own. As promised the bow was rewarded to the boy, to which he affectionately named Seth. However the bow still was taxing on the boy’s body, so he just kept it over his shoulder unless he had to use as necessary.

On a particular hunting trip to practice the bow, the two were attacked. Having high expectations for his uncle, the boy thought he would come out victorious. Having to defend himself and his nephew the man was soon crippled and impaled by blades. Full of rage, Ramses drew his bow, demanding the attacker's name through hot tears. Their response was violence. Hot mind numbing pain shocked through his body in crippling waves, as his arm separated from his body. As his vision blurred all he saw was the figure about to finish the person he cared most about off.

The darkness came in waves as consciousness flooded in and out. Was it days, weeks, months? He didn’t know. His mind was groggy and clouded when he first came to. Ramses first sight was the town’s doctors and his mother’s face, but not Amon’s. He knew, he knew before they even spoke that he was long gone. Falling into depression after missing Amon’s burial and the guilt of not being able to fight, the boy was quiet and reclusive. Everyone expected this behavior until he began not to react to outside stimulus. Worried his mother tried to be as supportive as she could with the traumatized boy. Something was off. His personality had been shattered.

Looking at himself in the mirror and feeling nothing but hatred for himself the teen tried to end his life. But his body wouldn’t corporate with the blade at his neck. It wouldn’t obey. As he struggled with himself, the boy in the mirror spoke. You aren’t killing us. I won’t allow it. Who was he? I am you, Ramses, your desire to live. I’m not letting you give up the life he protected. Only he was Ramses. You aren’t Ramses. Neither of us is. He’s gone. Furious to make the boy stop speaking to him the boy tried futility to harm himself to no avail. He was the only Ramses. Not him. Not him! The boy in the mirror lowered the blade and as the teen bawled. Go to sleep for now…goodbye my other half. The mirror boy walked away, as the teen found himself stuck in the mirror. His other half, Ra, manifested itself that day, the remaining human desires he had left.

As time passed the erratic change of personalities and conflict between the two personalities, the relationship with his mother got worse. Ra was the more aggressive one outwardly, while the other personality who thought himself of Ramses was agreeable but depressive and bitter at the world. Soon the boy kept to himself dwelling with his demons as they consumed him. His mother was trying her best to cope with all the loss of her life as well as her son’s new mental illness. A momentarily loss of control shattered the twos fragile relationship during a heated argument. She said she never wanted to see her son again. His heart is shattering, his despair turned to rage as the boy took what was important to him and fled, too late to see the regret on his mother’s face. Why, why couldn’t she love him like before? He was still her son, different but still good.

Refusing any contact from his mother the teen grew up wandering Aero and training himself independently with the limited fading memories of his mentors’ teachings. The personalities quarreled and were a danger to each other as they fought often. The display often distanced himself from others, as they didn’t want to deal with a man who was unpredictable. Alone as always, the man accepted this as his fate and taught himself to hate others so he wouldn’t desire love again. The only thing that kept him going was the intense desire for revenge against his Mentors killer. Faint memories of the fear of fighting as a child surfaced but was quickly pushed aside by bubbling anger and hatred. With his dark hardened heart, he would achieve his goal by any means necessary. Would his real self even recognize him now after what he’s become? Would he even love himself? With those questions weighing heavily on his heart, the man joined the game in a futile attempt to achieve his goals faster. Healing was the last thing on his mind.

• Suffers from Dissociative identity disorder (DID) since his mentor’s death when he was a teen.

• Becomes confused when anyone shows any interest and positive interaction around them, as they don't consider themselves a whole person, so they aren’t worthy of acknowledgment.

• As much as they secretly crave attention and love, both will warn against any attachment towards themselves. Their reasoning is if anyone close to them has any or suspected connection to his mentor's murder, he will attempt to execute without any feeling or ever thinking he had any attachment to the said offender. His vengeful heart is a dangerous thing, and will no longer protect his loved ones unless he has consistent reassurance.

• Ramses refers to himself as singular and he; Ra almost always refer to himself as they/their (multiple entities) and he, he will extremely rarely address himself in singular form.

• The two are closest to being whole when they show positive progress, slowly gaining traits of the original ‘Ramses’. But for one reason or another, they always return to ‘normal’.

• Their wishes can be granted by entirely of their hands. They are too afraid to achieve this on their own as it means giving a part of themselves up.
