Okay that was actually really rude. But here's some education for you.
Domesticated rats are very far from the rats that caused the plague. The plague was actually caused by fleas feeding off rats, who would then bite a human. So yes rats did have a hand in it but fleas transmitted it.
Domesticated rats have had their genes tweaked so much that their life span is drastically shortened. Wild rats live 25+ years while domesticated live 3, maybe 4 if you're lucky. You would never see a black and white wild rat. All wild rats are either black, grey or some other variation of that color. A wild rat would eat your fucking face. Most mine does is sneeze funny.
